Hi, I've recently been diagnosed with GPC... My optomatrist told me to use the drugs: Vasocon A and Opticrom for a month or two to help clear up my GPC. I've looked up information on Vasocon A (which has naphazoline hydrocholoride) and it says it should not be used for longer than 72 hours or it can cause permanent damage to my eyes.
"Do not use naphazoline ophthalmic more often or over a longer period than is recommended. Overuse can cause increased redness and irritation in the eye and can even lead to permanent damage."
My question is.. is it safe to use it as my optomatrist says? I'm just worried she may have made a mistake giving me this treatment and I'm scared for any permanent damage I may face..
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
