ALDACTONE Is It an Appropiate Treatment for Acne?

Aldactone treatment for acne. I was on it for 7 years - I was told it was a heart blood pressure medication and that I had over active glands so this medication would sort my acne out!
Just like roacutaine (not sure of spelling). Why are women of my age being put on all this medication when in our 30's?
