Does a person w/ asthma have to suffer an "asthma attack" for he/she to truely have asthma? I coughed constantly & it was irritating my lungs (coughing up blood, etc) & had a lot of chest tightness & ability to breath normally was difficult & annoying. I was put on advair 500/50 after many tests, along w/ allegra. What can I take if I discontinue the advair (after reading all of the awful side effects that I know I have many of)? I have been off of advair for 5 days & my chest is very tight feeling. Please help w/ any advice!
