Albuterol Tingling in Toes, Small Children, Chronic Case, Mucus, Bronchitis
Posted over a year ago
Our 8 month old daughter had a serious (chronic) case of
bronchitis. .083% dosage 4 times a day of Albuterol. Her
eyes rolled back into her head. We broke up the dosage with
same effect. I tried it and found that dizzyness and tingling in
toes lasted a half hour with no reduction in mucus in my lungs. We would not recommend this drug for "any" small
children. Dangerous.
Rt0810 - Most of the time Xopenex is perscribed to small children because of the side effects to small children. You probably should have called the doctor, so that he could perscribe something else. And dizziness and tingling is most definately a side effect thats pretty common in adults too. The Albuterol is not supposed to reduce the ammount of mucus in your lungs. It simply dialates your airways...so that you can cough out what is there. Make sense?
