Personally I've never heard to those meds. The first several years that I had it, no doctor seemed to be able to diagnose the problem until 5 yrs ago. Because of this most doctors just gave me T3's or other useless drugs. I started buying pills off of the street because I could no longer tolerate the pain - especially the fact that it kept getting worse. Percodans were what I bought and they helped somewhat - a lot better than codine! After moving to a small town and admitting to my new doctor what I was doing for the pain he prescribed me morphine. What a differance!! It does not take the pain away completely but it does make living tolerable. The trick is to not take too many. If you are having a good day or week, then cut back. This medication can be very addictive but as long as you are careful you should not have a problem. I've read that those who suffer from actual pain don't get addicted as easily although I don't know how true this is. I have had drug addiction problems in the past which is perhaps why I am so extra careful taking this medication. I started on 3, 30 mg pills per day around 12 or 13 years ago and am now taking 4, 30mg pills. This is good as most people that I know on morphine have gone from 30mg to 100mg pills in 1 to 2 years.
