Azulfidine/sulfasalazine

I started Azulfidine on 9/19 for Rheumatoid Arthritis. I reached the correct dosage after 2 weeks of a "step" program to ease user into the drug. As of 10/25 I have lost all sense of taste and smell. Has anyone else had this side effect? I am now off the drug (1 full day off). Anybody else?
