Citalopram Changed Everything

was prescribed citalopram Nov 2010, coz had depression n anxiety, when started taking it (20mg/day) felt that nothing changes, only after about 4-5 weeks started to feel better, like lots better, coz finally i didnt care nothing on this planet, in about 2 months taking it i broke up with my 2.5 year boyfriend, basically i cheated on him with a guy from my work, n he found out, so he left, and i swear to god i didnt care 1 little bit, i even didnt feel little sorry for my boyfriend, whom i hurt alot.. but citalopram made me cold as ice n totally heartless!! We broke up Dec 2011, then i started with a new guy which i left a month later, then i started going out clubbing, partying, long story made short - citalopram made me crazy, even my friends were wondering why i suddenly changed so much! N that lasted for about a year, still on citalopram, until i slowly calmed down ;)
Now, its 1.6 year later, May 2012, im off citalopram since 22nd April 2012, was on it for a year n 5 months, on 20mg/day, and yes my depression is gone now, been feeling like old, happy me since the 2nd month after starting citalopram til now, only since iv stopped ( i did it very slowly, gradually) i have bit anxiety, tight chest feeling sumtimes, insomnia, but i know it all will go soon :))
