uncomfortable

I have been having these odd vaginal infections since September 2007, a few months after I had my srecond child, for which I was a beta strep carrier. . .I never had any time of infection before my pregnancy with him
these infections start out feeling like a bladder infection or UTI and then I just get very uncomfortable. . I have a very dry, irritated, swollen feeling in my vaginal area. . not much discharge. .just yucky feeling and uncomfortable, not painful though. . my dr. has attributed many to the beta strep. . actually a lot of the time my cultures dont even show infection, its just this horrible mystery "disorder" that I have
then about 8 months ago I had a mirena iud inserted and things got worse, I just had it removed, as I think it was making things just worse
has anyone had symptoms like this??
