I have been suffering with panic attacks for the last 11 years on and off. However I am now experiencing a different type of panic. If I am engaged in conversation my eyes start to go all funny on me and it kills me to make eye contact at all in case they notice my eyes perhaps dilating. I am 20. I have Panic Disorder with agoriaphobia, Anticipatory Anxiety, Irritability Anxiety, ADD, Depression, Chronic Constipation and Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (which was not caused by untreated STDs or STIs). I have had panic attacks for 7 years and found. 2mg of Xanax helped tame the attacks very well and I never felt better in my life. I am so happy to be free from the attacks at last !!!

I started having panic attacks 3 months ago,so my last er visit they gave me ativan which helped me feel better.Later that week I saw my doctor and told him about my symptoms and he prescribed me clonopin and zoloft since then I have not had a severe attack and my mood has changed from feelings of fear to feelings of opomistic views on my life I have more effort to get out of my hoome and go to support groups and attend outings with my family.

What is Panic Disorder?

Panic disorder is an anxiety disorder . It causes panic attacks, which are sudden feelings of terror for no reason. You may also feel physical symptoms, such as Fast heartbeat Chest pain Breathing difficulty Dizziness Panic attacks can happen anytime, anywhere and without warning. You may live in fear of another attack and may avoid places where you have had an attack. For some people, fear takes over their lives and they cannot leave their homes. Panic disorder is more common in women than men. It usually starts when people are young adults. Sometimes it starts when a person is under a lot of stress. Most people get better with treatment. Therapy can show you how to recognize and change your thinking patterns before they lead to panic. Medicines can also help.
