cell-cycle regulation

Published:

Any process that controls the series of events by which a cell goes through the cell cycle. During the cell cycle, a cell makes a copy of its DNA and other contents, and divides in two. When cell cycle regulation doesn’t happen correctly, cells may divide in an uncontrolled way, and diseases such as cancer can occur.

I am so thankful to all of you ladies for posting your experiences with the Mirena. I am having mine removed next week and I can not wait. I am not looking forward to 'crashing' after the removal but am hoping it will subside the symtoms I have been experiencing. I had the Mirena inserted in Jan 09. At first I really thought it was the best birth control ever. My Doctor insited that there were no major side effects. I have since gained 25 lbs and can not drop the weight. I even tried Nutri Systems for 2 months with no success. I have had uncontrollable mood swings, anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. I was hospitalized in Sept 09 because the panic attacks and anxiety had gotten so bad. I am currently on Prozac, Celexa, and Ativan. I have also been experiencing major headaches. My Doctor continues to insist that the Mirena has nothing to do with my symptoms. After reading the experiences of other women, I am not so sure I believe my Doctor anymore.

I've been on Singulair for several years now... I never noticed the changes in my personality until recently. (I'm sure my family has). I have been having mood swings, suicidal thoughts, depression. Not sure about the weight gain, since I'm also on Paxil, but have put on 10 lbs since I've been on both. I get my Singulair from Canada, so it can take a few days to get here, and I usually run out for about 5 days :( (my bad)... but then I sneeze my head off, can't breathe, and my allergies are out of control. I guess I will call my doctor because my thoughts just aren't normal for me. And the tiniest thing can set me off.... like last night my dh turned the TV off in our bedroom and I went into depression...talk about irrational thoughts.

Started taking yasmin almost 3 years ago. I took it for 3 years straight. I started have loss of sex drive. Very irritable. Then the anxiety came like a storm. Crying, depressed. I first experienced the attack when I was driving. It tramatized me and I havent been able to drive by myself since without fear. Its now been 8 months off yasmin and the anxiety got better but comes back often. Feeling really anxious. Im scared of all kinds of things I was never scared about before. All I know is I dont think I would have made it through without Jesus helping me stay in my right mind. I have not took any medication or have seen a doctor yet due to no insurance but I will be going soon because I havent had my monthly cycle consistently since June. Ask Jesus to help you make it through these tough times ladies he will keep you in his perfect peace.

My now 19 year old daughter her her gardasil shots 3/07, 7/07, and 1/08. Since that time she has had a myriad of medical issues, chronic constipation, migraines, fainting spells, back and leg pain, tingling in neck and legs, MRSA, extreme menstrual pain, tumor at base of spine surgically removed, vomiting, nausea. The list goes on and on. Still to this days over 2.5 years later she still has extreme back pain and numbness. Thought all this I found the most help at http://truthaboutgardasil.org/. There you can read other Gardasil Girls' stories, names of people who can help and treatments that have been found to help. Most important make sure your gardasil reactions are reported on VAERS!
