A surgical procedure used to remove moles, cysts, skin cancer, and other skin growths using local anesthesia. To treat skin cancer, the doctor uses a scalpel to remove the entire tumor and some of the healthy tissue around it.

:::UPDATE::: Check my previous post, then read this. I am on my final week of prednisone, at 10mg a day. I weighed 185 4 weeks ago when I started this drug, and never put on more than a pound. I am currently at 185. I did not get a round face or have any other serious side effects. I was constipated for the first 2/3 weeks when my dose was 50mg/40mg/30mg, and i had lower back pain when laying down for sleep. Also didnt sleep more than 5hrs a night. I cant wait until this week is over and I finish prednisone completely. I just hope my uclerative colitis doesnt flare up. I am also taking asacol (10 pills a day), 3 types of probiotics, multi-vitamin and calcium pill to help put/keep me in remission. Since I started prednisone, I have been symptom free of ulcerative colitis AND IT FEELS GREAT!!! I wish they had a safer drug that worked like prednisone. Alot of horror stories on here with prednisone, but I have been lucky not to have any bad sides. If you plan on taking this drug, I hope your body handles it as well as mine has. -I will update everyone in a couple weeks when I have been off prednisone and let you know how I feel.

I am taking Avelox for 4 days now, and i feel much worse then before i went to my doctor's office for cough and sinus problems, I just feel very week, dizzy, sick on my stomach. can't eat anything....... Started to search about the Avelox on the internet and found this page. I am just wondering how those side effects less? I am so scared that this could be permanent...

My 16 year old daughter just had her second shot of Gardasil on Thursday. It's now Saturday night and she's running fever of 103, she's achey and extremely exhausted. Taking deep breaths makes her cough. She did not react to the first dose. I am so overwhelmed by guilt after reading all of this that I made the choice to give her a vaccination that was intended to help her and it's put her in harms way. I called her pediatricians office and spoke to a nurse who told me that it could not be a reaction to the gardasil vaccination when she did not react the first time it was given to her. All I know is she has the same symptoms 3 days later that presented within hours of getting the shot.

I have had thryoid problems since 1986. I had my thyroid out in 2000. My dr's can't keep my levels within range. It is either to low or to high. I am also on depressions meds as well as fluid pills. I feel like I have been hit my a truck and than ran over by a steam roller. I also found out that I now have sleep apnea. I can't sleep, have no appetite, my nails are cracking and splitting, My hair is falling out. I also can't stand the mood swings or the hot flashes. One minute I am laughing and the next I could rips someones face off. I don't think that any of my meds are working. I think that they are contradicting each other. Is there anyone out there that has the same problems as me. If so, please let me know. Thanks, Desperate for an answer.
