For the person that said i should get it out.... Sure why not lets see my fience is bi-polar, adhd, and gets kidney stones contantly lost his job over it. So theres no income coming in at this household. Lets also not forget i get pregnant incredibly easily(my son was concieved while on bc and using a condom) and while on bc i also feel like id rather beat ppl over the head then hear what they have to say and with three children their bdays being 4/9/07, 1/9/09, and 11/8/09 that isnt an option. i havent been pregnant since my last child and thats wonderful for me. I have hypothyroidism which they say can make you infertile(deff not my case) which has also caused my last two children to be born 4 weeks premature my second child didnt have complications but my third spent two weeks in childrens hospital from being born with a collapsed lung.... and also when they say it doesnt enter your blood stream the mean directly enter it, it takes time for it to even take effect. but unless you all just have really bad doctors or something my ob even worned me that the worse side effect would be death, but under my situation this was my best option. plus i dont like having to take pain killers everyday, levothyroxin, blood pressure meds, and also try to remember a little pill. ive had migraines since i was 16 and the blood pressure med is to prevent them, had a hypothyroid since i was 16. But if anyone has a suggestion other than mirena id gladly listen. And getting my tubes tied was not an option im only 22!!!!

I've been taking Trileptal and Buproprion for bipolar disorder for about 7 years; after a month my doses went to Buproprion HCL 200 mg. SR two times a day and Trileptal 300 mg. morning, lunch and two at night. I only take one at night or I'm zonked and groggy the next day. It works great for my bipolar for the most part, but after about 3 years on it I had an episode where I got double vision and felt like I LOOKED like I was drunk; I didn't feel drunk, but one side of my face and one eye felt so weird! When I cover one I my vision looks normal but I still feel very odd. This only occurred occasionally but as time goes by it's getting worse and worse. Lately I've noticed an intention tremor in both hands and having to "reach" for the right word. I also have trouble typing and will make a mistake over and over before I can get my fingers to correct it. I'd hate to stop my meds; I really love them.

Hello again ladies :-) OK-I posted yesterday and forgot to mention that although I took the Nuvaring out last Thursday. (Feb.4/10 and also the last day of my period) and it was only in for 3 days - Yesterday morning, I started my period AGAIN. Not spotting, this is a full blown period. Cramps, bloating & all. I am so upset that I ever used this damn thing. I only used it for a month and those 3 days... In such a short time it's nearly ruined me. I still have the rash too :-(

Anyone out there having double vision or intention tremors, like reaching for something and your hand shaking even if you clench your fist? I also have trouble typing and will type a word incorrectly over and over again, not because I don't know how to spell it I just can't get the right letter to come out of my fingers. I take Trileptal as a mood stabilizer, and have been taking these meds for 7 years and have been so happy with the results, and I'm wondering if now I'm going to have to change because of these side effects. Kind of scary. By the way,, it took me a month or six weeks for my meds to feel comfortable in my body. It took awhile to get the doses right and for my brain to register what I was taking, but it probably saved my marriage and my life. It's so much better than the Lithium and Zoloft I took years ago which made me a totaly zombie.
