Published:

Stage III breast cancer is divided into stages IIIA, IIIB, and IIIC. In stage IIIB, the cancer may be any size, has spread to tissues near the breast (the skin or chest wall, including the ribs and muscles in the chest), and may have spread to lymph nodes within the breast or under the arm.

I am 24 and in the military leaving for Afghanistan within the week. I was prescribed 2 100mg doxcycline per day for a sinus infection. I am 3 days in to the treatment and my side effects are nausea and extreme fatigue. The nausea was easily dealt with, I just ate something and it stopped. This fatigue thing is ridiculous though. I have to go to combat and endure the plane ride all while on this stuff. And talk about working slow. I have never had an antibiotic work so slowly. Normally with others that I have taken, I should have felt relief by now. Anyway, I wish everyone luck with the drug.

As a mother to a 21 month old daughter every one of my symptoms has been blamed on my pregnancy with her. ( as well as my fiance, mother, sister, mailman, dry cleaner, the list goes on) I had my Mirena IUD put in June of 09'. I spent over a year with monthly bacterial and yeast infections, a full year in depression, no sex drive whatsoever, a vagina that was so dry I thought it would fall off. (and sometimes wished it would!) All of which were assured by my doctor to be something else. It couldn't possibly be my IUD after all does that even sound right? Well after reading these posts I'm sitting here in tears wondering why I didn't do this research before I had it put in. It hurt so bad the day I had it put it I thought this damn well better be worth it. Until just recently I thought it was. I made an appointment to have it taken out immediately. I'd rather have another baby then deal with this bs. I have a super supportive fiance who has stood by my side as I slowly died inside. That is what I have felt like! I knew something was just wrong with my body but I never thought it was my IUD. I'm not sure what will happen after its taken out but from the help of all the women who have posted their experiences after it is gone from their lives i'm willing to try anything to just be done with feeling like a crazy person! Oh by the way I spent months speaking to a therapist because I was just sure I was losing my mind. Hope to have it back soon :)

I just had my Mirena removed on Tuesday. I suffered severe pitting edema in both feet, calves, and had pain in knees. On some days even my hands. I woke up around 2:30 this morning because my hands were so swollen they had begun to throb. I noticed severe changes in mood no matter which pill I took so decided to go IUD and had Mirena implanted November 2008. I have probably had four episodes with edema but never this bad nor to have lasted the 6th or 7th week that I am on now. Usually went away in a few days. Prior to Mirena feet only swollen 2 days 18 years ago with late pregnancy. I also have mood swings, anxiety, nightmares, knee pain since insertion but wasn't sure if psychological effects were due to my being off work for over one year due to layoff and recession. Had to actually start seeing therapist and taking wellbutrin and anti-anxiety (gabapentin). Went in originally for copper IUD but was pushed to Mirena and told that extremely low level of non-systmatic different type of hormone. When primary Dr sent me for chest xray and blood work and turned up nothing but my usual anemia, he suggested removal of Mirena. I thought he was nuts but decided to try as I can have copper replacement as soon as it arrives to gyn's office. I had no idea at all that all of this exist. Even looked it up and saw that less than 5% of test subjects experienced any of these side effects. Will keep you posted on progress. Some of my other symptoms include: severe blurred vision ( to the point that I can't identify anything about faces even directly in front of me or at a distance. I couldn't even recognize my boyfriend right in front of me at subway station), shortness of breath, tiredness, weight increase, but loss of appetite (not such a bad thing). Unlike most I never had a real period since insertion. Just spotting at random times, definitely not a bad thing! :)

I am taking 10 MG of Lisinopril and I am experencing horrid hair loss, hacking dry coughs and the most horrendous form of heart burn. I am throwing up everyday because of the heartburn I am experiencing. I can't eat anything, everything i eat makes the acid flow all day long. The constant back pain and pelvic pain and the leg cramps are unbelievable yet this seems to be the only medication that can control my blood pressure. I've tried over 8 different medications and nothing works like Lisinopril. WTF!
