Doxyciline for Pelvic Infection

I was just recently prescribed this antibiotic for a pelvic infection I discovered a pain in my lower abdomen and they gave me this after a urine test saying i had white blood cells which shows infection in my pelvis. So they gave me that and heavy pain killers. I was fine then started having a fever..then the fever went away and I had started having horrible heart burn, and stomach pain, then came the feeling of having the flu. Hot sweats, head ache, chest feels like its in throat. body aches, nausea even if ATE WITH FOOD. Lasts for hours and I feel like im going to die. The doctor said theyd call if i had a std never heard from them but they said to take it through till the last pill.has anyone stopped? did you feel better? should i keep taking them??
