Took 100 Mg on Deployment
I started taking the medication when i got deployed to Afghanistan, i after that i started having strange moods and my moods started to amplify (paranoia, hate, annoyance etc...), I started getting a numbness a complete lack of feeling, no remorse and life didn't feel real or right like i was in a dream state, i remember working in the wood shop looking at the chop saw and thinking about putting my hand under it and cutting it just to see what it would feel like or if i would feel it at all, but i thought somethings not right and didn't do it because i knew what it was supposed to feel like / what would happen and reasoned my self out of it. later that day i heard a medic talking about fort hood and people having bad reactions to the malaria medications like freaking out, fighting, killing themselves and others,
some were having some of the same problems and symptoms i was having so i stopped taking it and i started to come back to normal after about a month or 2, ... more »

during that time i had bad anxiety attacks and withdrew from everyone, I'm ok not as good as before i took it, still a little emotionally numb and have become a little social phobic now.
but a bunch of other soldiers had strange dreams on it and one Sgt had bumps all over his body
