I took two 15 Mg capsules last evening at 11 PM and awoke at 1 AM to go to the bathroom. When I got out of bed I was very dizzy and had to hold on to the wall & doors not to fall!!!!

I would just like to know the side effects if any for this drug please. Do I need to go some were else?

I have taken restoril for 7 months. I take one 30mg capsule before I go to bed. It has 100% calmed me down. I went through a nasty divorce and I have to give restoril credit-it got me through it. The doc tried to give me Xanex (sp?) but that was the stuff my wife took and it made her crazy. One thing I will warn about, at least with me is that I can't get to sleep now w/o it. I am a very active person who works out every single day. It hasn't interfered with that at all and I have not gained any weight.
