100m symptoms and conditions

I was prescribed Doxycycline Hyclate 100m for acne on January 20th 2009. Then, on February 6th, I took the medication at 11:00 only to wake up at 11:40pm with severe chest pains. I have never had anything wrong with me heath wise and the first thing that popped into my mind was the medicine. I went to the doctors the next day because the pain had become so severe and i could not eat or drink anything (even water) without feeling a sudden sharp pain. They did an x-ray and found nothing wrong. I was told it was probably anxiety and this medicine had nothing to do with the chest pains. I
went ahead and took it again last night only to still have chest pains so i decided to do research on this medicine and came to this where i found posts in which similar things were experienced upon taking the medication. I have just stopped taking the medication today and am hoping for the pains to go away.

I took Lipitor for 2 years with all the pain in my shoulder, hand and arm as well as fuzzy memory. I had a friend over for Lunch an have no memory of anything that happened including his arriving and leaving on his Harley and we all know how loud they are. I ended up in the hospital with all kins of tests including an MRI all of which I have no memory of to this date. My hospital bills are still coming in as well as all the Doctors that saw me. I just received my Divorce and then this happened , I was out of work for a week , the Doctors thought I had had a heart attack, stroke or aneurysm.I also had all the foot pain making it impossible to stand up , leg cramps, sleeplessness, sheer exhaustion, depression, headache and nausea. The Doctor at the Hospital took me off of the Lipitor and said to take a 325mg. aspirin daily . This happened on March 23, 2008 . I am felling better but I still pain in my shoulder , neck , stomach , and feet and legs but is nothing like it was. Here I am left with a few thousand dollars of Doctor and Hospital bills. Why can`t something be done about all of this we are all going thru? I called the FDA to report it and got no where. Did I really expect anything to happen ! I hope someone gets something done for us . I would be one of the first to sign up to take Lipitor off the market and get what is due us.

I had been taking Toprol XL (100m g daily) and have experienced diarrhea almost daily for the past few years (loose watery stool and 3 or 4 BMs in the mornings) Went to a gasterentologist approx 4 years ago for fecal incontinence; referred to specialist and then was included in study for fecal incontinence. Problem still persisted. 10 days ago I stopped taking the Toprol and diarrhea stopped immediately. Have had a few mishaps since stopping taking this awful drug, but hopefully, it will all go away.

MY DAUGHTER STARTED TAKING DOXYCYCLINE M 100M FOR FIVE DAYS., SHE HAS HEAVEYINESS IN HER CHEST & IT HURTS TO SWALLOW. THE DOCTOR TOLD HER TO QUIT TAKING IT. SHE HAS BEEN OFF OF IT FOR FOUR DAYS NOW & SHE STILL HURTS REALLY BAD. TAKING HER BACK TO THE DOCTOR.
