7days symptoms and conditions

One week into taking the meds . I did feel anxiety and nervousness. I have never felt those feeling until I have taken that medicine. i also had diarrhea.I started feeling a sensation above my knee where is would start tingling and it would go numb and then start burning after standing for like 10 mins .I have never had any problems with my legs. Then the second week into in the middle of my thigh started a burning sensation. The third week it just kept getting worse . I went back to my doc and told him he said it was my weight and me walking. So Sept 11,09 I stop taking it. I have been off it for like a 7days . the burning has gone down to a soreness in my right leg but my right foot is very sensitive. It very annoying. I do not what it did to me . It has been the worse 1 month experience in my life. I have lost 25 pounds which is great eating right and walking.If it was not for this website and my mother in law I would of kept taking it. Like a dummy. I am looking for a good doctor in

I am using Yasmin for 1 month now and 2days after today I will wait for my very first breakthrough bleeding.
--I always feel paranoid that I might be pregnant but we never had sex without the pill and condoms (both methods used in the right way;never forget to take a pill; waited for 7days after taking the first pill)
--extreme depression
--breast pain!!!
--dryness in skin
--migraine
(but now gone)
--stomach cramps
--going to the bathroom more often
--breathlessness at times
--nausea
--my heart feels like it wants to get out of my chest after walking and several hours after taking Yasmin
--and now slight hair loss

--NO spotting

could i be pregnant?

I am getting paranoid again. I don't know why I am asking this question every time, even though I know that we used condoms and pills correctly...Depressed!!!!

I was prescribed this medicine after having a cold/flu like symptom.Just to show you how powerful this medicine is all I took was my first dose (2 a day) and for the next 7days I have never been the same.I had to go to the ER 3 times, I vomited several times and passed out on one occasion, my blood pressure dropped, was given IV, could not sleep for several days thought I was going insane, did not feel safe by myself, sudden weakness, constant cold feet, diarrhea.Blood work showed nothing but I was given anti-anxiety medication to calm me down and make me sleep.Please take my advise NEVER EVER TAKE THIS MEDICATION IT SHOULD BE BANNED a good doctor should not prescribe this medicine

Hello, I have read over most of these side effects and i would have to agree and be afraid of most of it. See I was diagnosed with bronchitis/pneumonia, they prescribed me these pills along with steroids. I have not taken the steroids yet but I did take my first dose of levaquin about 12 hours ago around 8 pm. With my dinner and plenty of water and fluids. I went to bed late with my fiance but not cause of the medicine, we decided to stay up and watch movies. Although, it did help my coughing and breathing, I felt bloated or ballooned up all of a sudden and it was starting to hurt my stomach. I figured it was the food I ate and all the water I have been drinking. So, next I noticed some minor vaginal discharge of which looks like when I'm ovulation so I pasted that as that. Now I woke up at 5:30 in the morning when I went to bed at 2 am and I can't go back to sleep! I woke up from a nightmare to see things in the dark to scare the %$^* out of me. I had this really bad taste and dryness to my mouth I felt like it was suffocating me. I cant seem to think straight or type well (I had to go back and review what I wrote but I might not have gotten all my mistakes) I feel like I have ADD I keep forgetting how to spell simple words... I mean the list keeps going and going. I am writing now because I am currently on it. I will not be taking this medication anymore much less the steroids but if anyone reads this, I hope you read first then take.

Does no one realize that this is normal for MOST BC. The low sex drive is normal! Mood swings.... normal. It can take up to 6 months for the meds to get out of your body once you stop taking them. I would suggest getting on a non hormonal birth control. Does no one read the side effects to Meds before they start taking them?

my sister was put on Prednisone for a inflamed heart and fluid around the heart, she started with 6 pills a day at 5mg for 7days, then 5 pills for 7days then 4 all the way down to 1 a day. When she got to 1 a day the EXTREME chest pains came back she was in and out of the hospital so many times it was crazy, she was then put back up to 6 a day and slowing get weaned off, however her side effects are insane, major swelling, moon face, weakness, INSOMNIA bad, rashes and bruzes are appearing everywhere, coughing a LOT, sore throat, foggy vision, shortness of breath, thats put it this way she is a MESS and to top it off her husband of 24 years passed away on April 30th, 2008 with a massive heart attack at 47 years old, she feels like she is going to go CRAZY, if anyone has any suggestions it would be so appreciated. Thank you SAD SISTER!!

i just finished my first pack and am on the 4th pill of the second pack and i haven't gotten a period. its just this brownish stuff which is gross haha. i don't know its kinda freaking me out but theres no reason i shouldn't be getting one except if the pills not letting me. before the pill it would come eh pretty regularly and would be REALLY heavy. and now i haven't gotten one soo i don't know. the only side effects I've had was for the first day i had HORRIBLE nausea/cramps. it felt like somebody was stabbing me or something and i couldnt move. for a while. and I've been craving anything sweet =P and my face is pretty much perfectly clear haha
if anyone has anything they can tell me about the no periods that would really be helpful

I started Yasmin less than two weeks ago. After three days I started to feel like a psycho... always crying over everything... depressed.... moody and tired. After 7days I started having a horrible headache that took three days to go away! I blame this all on the devil pill Yasmin. I have now been off it for two days and am already feeling much better. If your friends and family notice a difference in you and more importantly you know that this just isn't you then I can't think of any other cause that the pill. I have been off it for two days now and am feeling much better. However, I am stuck with another unpleasant period after just having one last week !!! UGH! I think I will give my body a break and use other forms of bc for the meantime. I hope this helps anyone who might be questioning Yasmin.
