I have been taking Adderall XR on and off for about 4 years. I am 27 years old and have also been taking birth control for about 10 years. I got off birth control almost a years ago and have not had a period since, so I went to the OBGYN with my concerns as my husband and I are trying to get pregnant. Has anyone experienced missed periods? My Dr. did a pelvic ultrasound and I found out that I have PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and its going to be hard for me to get pregnant. Has anyone else had issues getting pregnant and think that Adderall might be the cause???

I had my Mirena removed a month and a half ago and I feel GREAT. I am a MOM again. My kids aren't afraid of me anymore which was the worst part of the side effects. I am starting a new job this week as a nurse (I got my license 2 weeks ago) and am GLAD that the Mirena will not affect my attitude at work.
I have noticed a huge difference at home. The sex drive is still non existent but it wasn't there very much even before Mirena. I am more willing to do more and be there more often. Things are so good, that I don't plop my kids in front of the TV so I can go off to my room or the table to be online. Tomorrow, I am calling Verizon so that they can shut off our TV, Internet, and Phone services. We have cell phones, the library has computers with internet access, and we have a DVD player attached to the TV.
I am so EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!

I though Mirena would be great. Considering I had two abortions, it seemed like the best choice.
Then it came.
The horrible discharge, HORRIBLE!
NO periods, just vaginal discharge.
It defiantly made me very self conscious, and my sex life has dwindled. I haven't had it removed yet, but because of this list,
I am calling tomorrow.
I felt crazy! Got tested twice, and no results,
NO positive on anything. So why is it happening, and does it go away after you take it out?

I have been much better since taking Aviane.
However the depression and anxiety some if you described, I had for TEN long years whilst taking MICROGYNON. I felt I couldn't control my emotions it was very frightening. I didn't realize that my pill could be causing this though until I stopped taking it.
So I guess that all pills affect different women in different ways. The only way is to keep trying different ones until you feel ok. Don't give up. My firned did and ended up having a seires of abortions just because she didn't like how the pill made her feel. I think the abortions made her feel MUCH worse.
Just keep trying you'll find the right one..
Good luck!
