My wife and I both on 14-day Biaxin XL for bad flus. We both have an absolutely completely disgusting tastes in our mouths. Have tried everything drinkable & edible for relief to no avail! My wife with some diarrhea, myself some sleeplessness. The worst is this taste! We are both hoping that we can last another 6 days until we finish. Will never take this med again if we can take an alternative!

I have MS and have been taking Ambien for a few months now to help me sleep. My husband and daughter told me this morning that last night I got up from bed and was completely naked and walked out into the living room. They said I looked very wasted and was looking all around the house for some soda and them went back to bed. I can't remember any of this. It scares me. what if they were not home, would I of drove to the store naked looking for soda? This is a very dangerous side effect. It only happened one othere time when I got up and was surfing the TV channels looking for a TV program. Again, I don't remeber it happening. I also It is making my MS symptoms worse, I am having more stiffness and spasms along with blurred vision.

I am 28 years old, I have been on Yasmin for 14 months and have had horrible depression issues. I am always tired. I can't sleep. I have absolutley no sex drive. I lost weight when I first started taking it, but have gained 19 pounds in a year. I am hypoglycemic and have to watch my sugar intake, just as a diabetic would. I was not told that there was potassium in this pill and that eating a bannana could put me in the hospital. I found that out though only after being in the hospital and feeling like I was going to die. I was put on Yasmin because I have problems with bleeding 3 out of 4 weeks a month. Trust me this pill is not what it is cracked up to be.

BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS CAUSED BY SINGULAIR.

Our 7-year old daughter has been taking Zyrtec, as needed, for her allergies since the spring of 2005 without side effects. That summer, our allergist recommended she add Singulair. She took it for a short while w/o noticible side effects that we can remember. This spring our doctor prescribed it for her again, along with Zyrtec. We gave her the medicine regularly, not expecting side effects as she has done well with other medicines.

Normally, our daugher is a very happy child. Friends often comment on her ready smile and good disposition. This spring, however, she exhibited uncontrollable anger spells about very small things. She would become upset about something small, and then her anger would build, causing a temper tantrum which lasted hours. As parents, we were very concerned and disturbed by her behavior. We were about to seek professional counseling because we tried many different ways to help her without success. Around this time (late spring), a friend told me about a child she knew who experienced behavior problems while taking Singulair. My husband did a quick Internet search, finding many other similar personal testimonies. As a test, we immediately took her off the medicine, especially because we weren't convinced that it helped with her allergies anyway. After a few weeks passed, our daughter's behavior changed dramatically. She has not had one temper tantrum in three months! My husband and I felt like we got our happy, little girl back! We are absolutley convinced that Singulair caused her behavior problems. If your child or you are taking Singulair and feeling/behaving abnormal, please consider finding an alternative medication. I am sure Singulair doesn't affect all people in this way, but Merck needs to recognize this side effect! Today, I tried to inform them by email about our problems, but their website referred me to my physician (who already knows). Why don't they want direct feedback from their consumers???

i just had my 3rd shot this past weekend. I'm still having ALOT of hot flashes, and i hate them. I'm very emotional and cry over stupid things that never would have effected me before. I don't like that feeling. My sleep is awful. When i finally do fall asleep, i'm waking up constantly because of hot flashes and nightsweats. Because of my lack of sleep, i've had bronchitis twice already. I'm so tired all of the time since i'm not sleeping. I've noticed that i get annoyed easily and i'm beginning to feel increasingly depressed. A new side effect i've noticed is limb jerking. my arms or legs will suddenly give a slight involuntary jerking movement, somewhat like that feeling you get when you're sleeping and feel like you're falling. My weight is fluctuating. One week i'll have lost 5 pounds, then gained 7 pounds the next week and on and on...i'm annoyed easily and i have absolutley no sex drive. I hate this so much and don't want to ever do it again, but the thought of the pain i had before is even worse. i feel backed against a wall. i'd like to just have a hysterectomy and be done with it, but i'm too you apparently (25). I'm trying desperately to find out if this is my only option. there MUST be something else out there. anyway good luck everyone
