Hey Girls! Im 24 years old. i had my first child in June 08.i weighed 162 the day i had him.he was only 8lbs.. july08 i had the Mirena put in. everything went fine. It didn't hurt me. i had regular bleeding afterwords about3-4 days. i loved it! BUT...sept.08 i got PYCHO. thought it was PPD or just life changes. me and my hubby never fight. i have a perfect life as a stay at home mommy, bc he makes good money, so nothing to really complain about!! but i just start fights over anything now. its affecting a lot of relationships in my life.i have been experiencing things like ::: pelvic pain(spasums), headaches, cant sleep, nervousness to where i cant even go out in public, acne, anxiety, very depressed, angry, crying a lot, frustrated with everyone (even my poor baby), yelling a lot, dizziness,my left shoulder kills me, i am down to 110 lbs, nausea about 3 times a week in the mornings. I have even considered counseling or depression pills to help me. then just this July, having this Mirena for a year. i just stopped my period. i have taken 4 pregnancy tests...all negative!! so i got on here and now i know why i have been feeling so HORRIBLE! part of me is relieved now knowing that this has to be the problem. i have Crohns Disease and cant take Birth Control Pills.i wont take the shot or patch. i am actually considering my hubby to get snipped....or does someone know something else that is good to take.

I tried Nuvaring for about 2 months and it was horrible!! The thing would never stay in while my fiance' and I were having sex! He would take "it" out and the Nuvaring would be sitting right on "it"! HA awkward right? YEAH. And after a while of this happening, he would just start taking it out before we had sex, and I would put it back in afterwords. Which basically defeated the whole purpose of this birth control really. So i ended up just taking it out before the 3rd month, then missed a month of my period completely. And by the next month I began to have uncontrollable bleeding. And after a few weeks of this, I ended up in the hospital and they concluded I had a miscarriage :( and I believe it was all because of this Nuvaring. It may sound convenient, and easy. But it will hurt you in the long run. try, Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo!!!

I have been taking advair for years on and off. I was upped my dose to 250/50 and for the last year have struggled with feeling terrible. I didn't really think it was the advair for a long time. Thought it was something else and the doctors didn't find anything wrong, they were looking at hepatitis, thyroid, adrenal etc. But I feel sickly all the time, like I have the flu... those body aches all in my back and chest and I feel tired all of the time. My lungs sometimes hurt. I get dizzy spells as well and am struggling through my day. Has anyone experienced this on Advair? I have just decided to go off and use my inhaler... which I am trying not to use unless I am really wheezing. Trying to get all the steroid out of my body to see if that makes a difference. How long will it take before the advair is totally out of my system? I am so tired of feeling so tired and sick. Please if anyone has experienced I'd like to know I am not alone.

I have been on the NV for almost 3 weeks now and my period was longer, and now i have been spotting and discharging. Its like a dark brown discharge. I have been feeling slighly depressed but I am also in school and work full time so I don't know if i am just streesed. At night time i have experienced some nausea, and I have had slight cramping. But what is odd is the other day my b/f and I had sex and I started bleeing again afterwords? So I had to go put in a tampon right after. I was on and off BC for about a year. Could it be my body just trying to adjust? I am wondering if i should wait it out a feel more months and see?

I had my two heel injections for plantar fasciitis 36 hours ago. Immediately after the injection I had an intense numbness and tingling in the left foot and leg. Then intense pain in the left foot afterwords lasting a few hours. Approx 20 hours after the injections, I began to get a red, hot , flushed faced, terrible headache, burning, dry eyes, and i felt very hyper like i was on speed or something, like adrenaline was flowing on high, and my heart was pounding. Now, at 36 hours post injection, my face is still flushed and hot, and my headache is still hanging on. My feelings of being on speed and heart pounding have greatly improved but not subsided. My heels, however, are feeling great right now.

I researched mirena before going ahead and having it placed and was skeptical about all the side affects women were reporting. (I'm pretty much always skeptical about side affects and usually just attribute them to people psychologically making them up.) A friend of mine has had a mirena for over a year and loves it, has had no side affects and therefore lead me to getting it. Insertion was awful awful awful. I was extremely nauseous (you know face going white, sweating, shaking, that awful feeling) during the processes as well as for an hour afterwords, which made for in interesting car ride home. Anyways the insertion is the least of the problems. My face completely broke out with the painful under the skin cystic acne. I have NEVER had bad skin in the past and therefore thought I would not have a problem with mirena, boy was I wrong. I only had the mirena for two months because I could not stand the constant cramping, continual bleeding and the terrible acne. Needless to say I had it removed (removal is a piece of cake, literally 5 minutes NO pain) and sure enough my face cleared back up in about a 2 weeks. I feel as though this device is extremely different for everyone and totally depends on the individual. As a said before I have a friend who absolutely loves it. (I am 25, no children and I am awful at remembering to take the pill and therefore thought this was a good idea.) I say if your health insurance covers it, try it out for a couple months, if health insurance doesn't cover it I wouldn't even bother.
