Has anyone ever heard of a connection between taking prednisone (for 14 months straight) and 6 months later having a gall bladder attack causing removal? I had severe stomach pain for the 5 months after stopping the prednisone and thought it was leftover symptoms from the prednisone.
The stomach pain was unrelated to the cause for taking prednisone.
Help!

I have been on zoloft 50mg for about 8 weeks now. The first and very bothersome side affect is the problem sleeping. After getting to sleep, it is very hard to stay asleep. My nights are full of vivid dreams. I have read this is a normal side affect. The BIGGEST problem I've begun to have is that while sleeping...I guess I am dreaming that my skin is itching because I have woken up many times to the pain of me scratching my skin until I have left deep burning scratches. Last night I had to get up and get a cold wash cloth to put on the skin on the back of my neck from the harsh scratching. This has NEVER happened to me before the zoloft. It has made a world of difference in my depression, and do not want to have to go off of it. Has anyone ever heard of this? Please post if you have....need to know this is a side affect...not just me...

I have taken this medicine on and off for a year now. I have severe ulcerated colon colitis. This medicine works wonders for me. When nothing else works. This product does not get rid of, or make it go all the way away, but it relieves my suffering a great deal. I go next week to see my GI for a new problem. Liver damage. I do not know if this medicine caused it. I do not drink. Never have. I do take lots of other medicines. Anyone ever heard of liver damage due to this drug?
