Arm pit symptoms and conditions

Wow....sounds like Kenalog is not a drug to be administered without careful consideration of the pros out- weighing the cons. I had a Kenalog injection in my elbow at an urgent care center while on vacation about 8 mos ago (painful elbow was impacting vacation activities). It took my pain away 100%. Never gave it another thought even until just recently when it began hurting again. Did, however, notice the atrophy at injection site...and a grayish tone to skin. Indentation has not grown, but certainly has remained. My elbow is also super sensitive. Feels like the nerve is right there under a thin layer of skin.....so sensitive. I also have leg shakiness, hip weakness, anxiety, nausea, and increased heart rate....I assume these are related as I did not have these issues prior. These issues bother me way more that the indentation on my elbow. Dont like not feeling well. I guess the learning is that all medications are foreign to your body and thus have potential side effects. One needs to ask questions and or do own research on their own prior to consenting to take a mediation to be sure the benefits are worth it.

Ok, I am glad I found this site! I have been having constant breast pain. on only my right side on top of my breast and on the side near my arm pit. It is only the right breast/right side. I think it is my Mirena too, but I have had the thing over a year. I am so afraid of having/getting Breast Cancer. I am a 26 yr old mommy of two little boys 5 and 1, plus a 12 yr old stepson who lives with me and my hubby. I called the Dr. today to make an appointment to have my breast checked.

I didn't read every single post, but **Is anyone else having breast pain like I explained? Mine started about two months ago...(right after my last pap/physical). I am so nervous. I have gained so much weight. I am bigger now than right after I delivered my 17 month old. Its all in my stomach. I have no sex drive and my BOOB hurts!!!!!

please let me know if any one else is experiencing this.

OMG! This site is awesome! I honestly thought I was going crazy and something else was wrong with me! I quit smoking back in Dec 2007 and early Jan 2008 I was diagnosed with bronchitis. The bronchitis eventually got worse and at the end of Jan dr put me on steroid packs and an inhaler to assist me with the congestions. Early Feb I was diagnosed with Chronic bronchitis and was sent to a lung specialist. My lungs were only expanding 40% capacity due to the infection in my lungs so I was prescriped the inhaler, antibiotics, seven days of seroid and the Advair twice a day. I have now been using the Advair about three weeks and even though I feel a whole lot better my side effects are bad. I have a lot of congestion still, especially in the mornings, I cough almost all day long, I sleep maybe four or five hours a night (if that), my mood swings are aweful, I have a sharp pain under neath my left arm pit every once in a while, my rib cage hurts 24/7, I get headaches at least once a day, my nose is bleeding at least once a day and my hands tingle all the time. I did not realize that all these symptoms were side effects to the Advair dosage... 250/50???? OMG... I have to stop taking it. I've never had allergies or asthma up until the chronic bronchitis but if these are side-effects to the Advair I wonder if I was just not better off fighting the bronchitis through antibiotis only. I have not experianced weight gain though, and I am thankful for that as I do not need to gain any more weight. :-) Thank you all for sharing your comments as I now know that I might be just fine using allergy medicines and an inhaler from time to time instead of using Advair twice a day.

I started taking Advair 250/50 when I couldn't get any air in the upper part of my lungs. I was diagnosed with asthma as a child, but hadn't experienced it since I was 11. I am 21 now, and I have panic attacks, pain in legs (pain in my thighs, and it feels like a rubber band wrapped around my knees) and arms, splitting headaches, hyper-sensitivity, mood swings, back pain, heart racing for no reason(especially at night, it wakes me up), insomnia, pain in my chest (mostly on the left side near my arm pit that feels like muscle tightness), I sometimes get sharp pain in my chest if I take a deep breath, I've gained 40 lbs. in the past 8 months, and I am a nervous, emotional wreck. A year and a half ago, I was a completely different person. I've been to the doctor, and they can't find anything wrong with me. Although I am overweight now, my cholesterol and blood pressure are perfect, there is nothing wrong with my lungs (barring asthma). I am in great health, and yet I feel awful. All the time. I have no idea what to do, because my doctor's have told me that the only known side effects of Advair is potential damage to the teeth. I am outraged, but I am afraid to stop taking it because my lungs actually hurt when I don't. I'm also on an Intal Inhaler, but I haven't heard any side effects of this. Here's the kicker, the doctor that prescribed me the Advair wasn't even a respiratory specialist, and refused to reccomend me to one! I'm so glad I found this site because everything everyone has listed seems to be what has gone wrong for me since I started taking it. If anyone has any information on how they're doing now that they've stopped taking it, or the "withdrawal" effects of Advair, please post them. I'm hoping to wean myself off. PLEASE READ: I have read all the captions regarding the use of Ultracet and the group can or could be broke down specifically into two groups. Those with Chronic Pain and those with Pain. The ultracet probably will not work well for those that experience just enough pain and see relief from an uncomfortable feeling. On the other hand, I for instance, have been in almost constant pain after having a benign tumor removed from the interior of my spinal cord 01/23/1994. The tumor had itty bitty fingers that wrapped itself or entertwined into my cord. It was removed but unfortunately, the area affected "between my shoulder blades" somehow interupted a nerve that runs under my right arm pit down tricep area of my arm to my elbow. The pain is described as a hornets sting where you actually feel the insect pumping venom into you. On a good day, the pulse of pain accurs about 2-3 times a minute. While on a bad day the pulse of pain occurs about every 2-3 seconds. I went over 10 years trying stimulation, physical rehab (5) jogging ect.. Where I have tried everything you can imagine to remove this pain, in Aug of 2003, I elected to use narcotics. I went a year on lortab and decided to stop. It was a bad 3 days but I survived it. My doctor then put me on ultracet about 6 months ago and I really like it. I take enough to make my pain stop, I dont care if its 4 of 10. I've had all the pain I can take. I am a Policeman and have been for 24 years. I dont like the idea to being addicted to ultracet, but it could be a lot worse. Those of us in the category of Chronic Pain must come face to face with the realization that addiction is a major result of our treatment. IM SORRY, but thats just the truth. Im willing to deal with it at this point because like I said, I just cant take the pain anymore. Like I said before, I went 10 years before taking pain medications because I was a Police officer and I had to work and raise 3 kids. Well, Im ready to retire now and all my kids are gone. I hope I havent bored anyone but I just wanted my Chronic Pain people to know, IT"S OKAY to be addicted. IT's NOT GREAT, BUT, IT's OKAY. Use your medication as your doctor prescribes it and remind him that you want kidney and liver check up's about ever quarter. That should prevent you from damaging your vital organs. PeAcE...
