I took Yasmin for about 2 years. When I first started taking it I noticed that if I took it at night, like, any time ater about 6, I'd have awful nausea the following morning, and usually end up vomiting. In fact, even if I took it before a nap I'd wake up and feel sick. I figured if I just avoided taking it before I slept I'd be in the clear. I started taking them in the morning and I noticed that about noon time I'd get headaches and I'd feel nauseous. Within the last 3 weeks (it could be the summer heat, but I'm almost positive it's the Yasmin) no matter when I take it I feel awful. Nausea, headache, fever, and consistent vomiting. I finally could not take feeling so sick anymore and today I went to my gyno and she suggested that I take the NuvaRing, because it's not something you ingest, which could prevent the nausea I had with Yasmin.

Ater 6 weeks prior to this medication, and 3 other medicines, the ear infection is finally gone with omnicef. My son is 10 months old and started on Omnicef 9/21/05. He had the red diarrhea. I was concerned until I read this site. He finished his last dose on Friday this is now Wednesday. There is still diarrhea, not red but still there...could this still be a reaction???

My mother, age 89, was diagnosed with high blood pressure after cataract surgery. At the 6 month check-up the opthomologist found flame hemorrhages and hypertensive vessels on the back of the eyeball. The internist found her BP 190/90. She started taking Metoprolol 100 mg twice a day and Lisinopril 20 mg once a day . The BP went to 160/80 in 2 weeks so the lisinopril was increased to 40 mg per day. She is now is lethargic, lost her appetite, lost 16 lbs, slightly nauseous, confused (particularly ater taking the Lisinopril), bad headaches. For the last 3 days she has had diarrhea pretty bad. and taken to her bed. We can't figure out which of the medications is to blame. Anyone else experience these symptoms?

Hello Nanato2,

YES!!!! I had the short term memory loss as well. I'll be 53 in one month....so glad we aren't "losin it" yet...eh? I even put it down to us being in the "Flower Power" generation. LOL . What is the saying? "If you can remember the Sixties.....you WEREN'T there." LOL

The weight gain, from the water retention, was also getting to me. Iv'e been off Lipitor, ater being on it for four months, for over two weeks now.

The only issue I have, is the EXTRA anxiety kicked off by this drug!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr. A heart attack four months ago wasn't enough I guess......SHEEEEESH!

Good luck. Peace&Luv,

GeeDub

Dec. 02 was issued by RX Amibid DM 30-600Cr Qty 60 Two twice per day, acct heavy lung congestion. Ater condition cleared did not refill Rx in expectation of reoccurance in future. As during course of usage noticed an effect of alleviationc of PN intoes and fingers. Thinking it"s just a fluke or way of PN, until this May during another heavy chest congestion Hay Fever_ Asthma and another ongoing round of Amibid DM, the PN has abated again. AQm wonering if this could be an alternatine means of treating Pn other than Neurontin?? Any Dr. or Pharn care to respond for or agaqinst? Thanks
