B3 symptoms and conditions

I want to ask a question. My mom takes Lipitor and just started Vit b . is there side effects to be expected? She just started a new bottle of Lipitor and is exper. dizziness. is this a side effect of one or the other?

The risk of side effect of cholesterol lowering medication double and increase the risk of developing rhabdomyolysis if taken with these drugs. Fibrates(another type of cholesterol drug)

I,too, am having hot flashes. I take 1000mg in the morning and 1000 right before bed. At night, I don't wake up to feel any effects, but during the day I start having these hot flashes. I can feel it coming on because my ears start to tingle, then feel warm; and it just moves right over my face. I feel like I have a bad sunburn. My eyes start to be shrunk in and my skin on my face begins to droop. I think these are hot flashes. They only last about 5 minutes, but when it's happening at work, it's embarrassing. Haven't talked to the doctor yet, but will bring it up at next appt. Is what I'm going through serious? I hope not.

Taking nicomide while taking Celexa and a b-complex for hair and nails. I read somewhere that nicotinamide may have anxiolytic effect. Not sure if this combination of vit B3 along with the other B vitamins and an SSRI is causing the SSRI to be less or more effective, but have experienced I think a tranquilizing effect, more noticeable at night. But at the same time I feel some depression and anxiety so I wonder if the Celexa concentration is being decreased secondary to the vitamins. I will stop taking all B vitamins for a few days and see how I feel. My work environment lately has been more stressful, too, so it's hard to say what exactly is going on. But will stop all B vits and see how I feel.

Lately my wife has been experiencing of depression, lack of energy, muscle cramps, nausea, enlarged and soar breasts (nipples are hot also), headaches, insomnia, vaginal discomfort and sourness with and without physical contact, constipation, and other symptoms, which I cannot as a male, properly describe. Is this accumulation of symptoms normal or should we look in another direction for birth control (besides condoms)? A concerned husband, Kenny...
