Back aches symptoms and conditions

My daughter was on NuvaRing for four years. she has been very very sick...she has extreme fatigue...wanting to sleep up to 18 hours per day. Very irritable...lost her friends, boy friend and we had to move her back home. She had to drop out of school. Severe back aches...hand tremors, memory loss, lack of coordination. This drug is TERRIBLE and should be taken off the market. She went to four obgyns and ask if her problems could be from the NuvaRing...they said no. So I know the company is keeping this info from the doctors. now...after being off of it for three months, she said she feels like she just got out of a coma. She is back living on her own, getting ready to go back to grad school. we feel lucky that she did not get a blood clot or a stroke which is also a common side effect.

i started taking this medication a few weeks ago and i too thought i had a cold then i was so tired for a few days i started having headaches and back aches i thought i sprained my back and statred putting heat compasses on my neck. tonight i noticed pain coming back some what over eye.
i am never taking this drug agin. i also noticed some depression and anxiety
my blood pressre was only midly high and most likely the result of the illness i had at the time.
i don't know what to do

I WILL NEVER TAKE ANYTHING MADE FROMWARNER CHILCOTT AGAIN. This bc pill loestrin that you so highly speak of has cost me 8.000 in medical bills due to the dpression and everything else I had mentioned in previous post. You have made very hurtful post to not only me to several other people on this board. We are here to share or stories with others. I cannot sleep at night knowing what this pill has done to not only me but to several others. Maybe warner chilcott would like to pay my medical bills now. If I were you I would stay off these boards. If any of you ladies have realized that the doctors offices are stocked with femcon and loestrin. They do not have many samples of other drugs. This crap is toxic. If it works for you great but if not get on somthing else.

I have had numerous side effects from Yasmin that seem to coincide with many that I've read here, but a few different ones as well. My anxiety level has been over the top and I have been having panic attacks related to really bizarre things such as feeling like the rings on my fingers are too tight and choking me. I felt the same thing when having an armband place on me while attending a carnival. It felt tight and constrictive and I felt an overwhelming flood of panic, as it seemed to make me smother, until I removed it. I feel extremely bloated and my back aches constantly. I have been sleepless for the most part and when I do sleep, suffer crazy and bizarre dreams. I have had a sore area on the back of my tongue for about 2 weeks. It feels as though my tastebuds have been scrubbed with sandpaper. I am also having problems with facial hair growth and have had stomach pain. I was on Ortho Novum 7-7-7 for 5 years and loved it. I had no side effects from it and my weight remained stable unlike with other pills I've experienced. The doctor took me off of them and refuses to put me back on because she says they are too high estrogen of a pill for someone my age (I'm 33) and since I am a smoker. Any advice?

I have had the mirena in for over 9 months, since then I have gained 26 pounds !!! I weigh more now then I did when I was 9 months pregnant !! My breasts have gone from a DD to a triple D, even when I was breast feeding for 5 months they never were this big ! I go months without a period and then when I get one its horrrible cramping and the bleeding seems like its never going to go away, sex drive has gone way down & its also painful no matter what position you try !, my midwife put me on prescription diet pills to help me get my weight in control, i couldnt believe it , nothing has changed my diet and excersize are the same, also I have had major mood swings and repeated yeast infections that my doc said are from the mirena. I have mine taken out on Oct. 3rd I cant wait this thing just isnt for me !!

To all the others with the same reactions to mirena, after it was taken out did you start to loose weight ?

Taking 2mg of Chlorambucil daily i began having back aches that progressed to severe back pain in both kidney areas after three weeks of doses.

aches/weakness in back of neck, back, aches in leg, lower arm......weakness, headache -- most bothersome is the feeling in the back of the neck and back.

I have been taking lisinopril for 9 months I have dizziness
tirdness, bad chest pains shortness of breath body aches bones ache all the time. headaches, shoulder aches back aches. that stuff is horrible I went to the doctors because I thought it was my heart everything is fine. I am still taking the pill but I am going to stop. The side effects is horrible. I was on 10 mgs a day but was increased to 20 mgs a day I can no longer handle this medicine cant sleep at night stay tired all the time. The side effects is horrible. I am not myseld anymore.

Here's what I got: I got to urinate 1-2 times less per day. I got headaches, fairly intense back aches. complete sexual dyfunction, all day drowsiness, with inability to sleep upon retiring. I got a stuffy nose along with slightly blurred vision. My energy level and physical output were almost nonexistant. Violent dreams when I finally went to sleep. A complete feeling of being uncomfortable and feeling ill. In my opinion this is a drug from "hell". If you can trade uninating 1-2 times less per day for all of these negative efftects then go for it!

muscle spasms I take prilosec 3 times a day 20 mil, Ihave real bad back aches and leg pain . Also many many muscle spasms.

Had severe dizziness laying me up for 2-3 days and needed help walking. I am not sure this is the effects of Lisinopril. I have bad ankles with lots of pain when i walk, back aches and stopped having my hair shampoos at the Salon due to laying so flat with my head lower than my body and would get dizzy and need help to get to the hairdressers chair. I am a diabetic and have tingling in my feet and legs. I am having severe leg and foot cramps at night. could this be the side effects of Lisinopril?

I have been taking Zocor for several years. I now have a chronic rash on my legs and also on other parts of my body at times. My back aches terribly and the muscles are very weak. I have read that the back ache and muscle weakness could be a sympton opf a serious problem.

What serious probelm is this and could it be worse that this terrible skin rash and back muscle weakness.

I stpped taking it and my rash is much improved, but not my back yet.

Pleas let me know if you havew experienced the same and if after quittin the drug did it clear up.

I have been on Ovcon for only a short while and I CAN NOT stand it anymore. Its only been 1 1/2 week since I started the pack I have experienced horrible headaches, nausea, vomiting, back aches, moodiness, blurred vision, fainting feelings (very light headed), insomnia, breat tenderness, and weight gain. Like many of you ladies before I had never heard of this pill before, but I decided to give it a try but for only a week I feel worst than I had ever felt on birth control I am stopping this pill TODAY. There is nothing for me good coming out of this I am so disappointed that so many women are paying 30-45 dollars for a product and get such bad side effects. This company needs to know what is happening to all of us women out here with these side effects. I have done some research and here is a customer service email address like me I think you women should voice your opinion. Something is not right with this particular birth control.

I went off of Yasmin a month ago after being on it for about 2 years (was on orthotrycyclene for 4 years before that) and have been miserable since...with headaches, (one horrific migraine), feeling nauseous and dizzy, feeling bloated, back aches, and major depression - crying all the time - and worst of all major panic attacks...not to mention feeling irritable and just complete mess. I thought I was having a nervous breakdown. My dr. (gyn) said that these symptoms should go away after my first period...I have heard it takes months to "recover" and really appreciate everyone's candor!

moon face, buffalo hump, bloating, stomach distention, heart burn, gassy feeling, cramping, increased/decreased appetite, night sweats, doube chin, hair growth, back aches, insomnia, moodiness, depression(and im a happy person most the time) mind racing contantly, WEIGHT GAIN!!!!!!!!! (40 lbs in 2 months or less) that i dont need. oh and these ugly purplish striations on my legs and stomach (look like stretch marks only purple and are near veins and are vertical)... hope they go away cause i'm self conscious of my body and am hoping to get the old me back so i can wear a bikini again......... while i'm young

I too had been prescribed Yasmin from my ob/gyn and immediately stopped taking them after 21/2 weeks. All of the following side effects I had personally experienced every day: break through bleeding, abdominal cramping, back aches, headaches, fatigue, anxiety episodes, crying spells, insecurity feelings, feelings like my body just wanted to have it's period. So after 21/2 weeks of this I let it and boy do I feel great! It was like I was holding back my body from doing what it naturally wanted to do, and I was suffering for it! The only thing is, I have this persistent cough that seems like it just doesn't want to go away. I'm going to go to my doctor in another week if it doensn't, I'm not sure if it is a related side effect. As far as birth control, I haven't had a need to use any lately as my boyfriend and I have just recently broken up, however, my friend tells me that she has been on the patch for 6 months and loves it, I might just try that.

I am a 64 yr old male. My BP got too high from eating chocolate. I was on Diovan with no side effects. But my pressure got to 150/98. My doc put me on 40 mg lisinopril as I suggested. (my brother takes it without any bad effects). I started getting back aches and upper chest pain. I wound up in the hosp because I thought i was having a heart attack. They didn't find anything. Kept up with the lisinopril for three weeks, and decided to get off of it and back to Diovan. I was working out and could do 10 -12 bench presses with 135#. Now I when I start to exercise or walk a long distance, I am still getting a pain across the shoulder blades, like someone is nailing me with a railroad spike. I hope this effect will go away.

I have been taking Lipator for about 2 years. I have noticed bad back aches and aches around my hips. I work in a hospital and I can't walk on the cement floors before it seems my hips want to freeze up. I can hardly make it back to my floor.
Six weeks ago I had my cholestrol checked and it was high. My boyfriend ask me to give him 4 weeks and he would have it down to normal. He had me take Flaxseed oil with Omega 3. 2 pills in the morning. 4 weeks later I had it checked again. It went from 376 to 204 and Trigleserides(sorry for bad spelling) went from 375 to 296. Good Cholesterol was 47. I stopped taking Lipator and am starting to feel better after 1 week. I highly recommend Omega 3 Flaxseed Oil.

I am not sure which of my medicine is causing side affects, so I was checking this site to see what other people had to say. In the last four years I have had face pressure off and on, shoulder, neck and back aches--now my legs in the last two weeks have started to ache bad. I am on levothyroxine0.05mg once a day, paxil 12.5 mg, adavant.05mg, and 1/2 atenol daily. I take on an average of 6--200 mgs of ibpropan daily also. Maybe it is a combination of the drugs. Had sinus surgery in 2000 and have had terrible ringing in my ears since then, with pain in my face from a damaged nerve from surgery. I am 59 years old and until 2000 have never been sick with anything only a common cold now and then. HELP!!!! Thanks Gloria

This is the first time I have ever taken levaquin. Never heard of it before this. I have always suffered with joint pain, back aches, and swollen joints. I have athritis. I am not even sure what the infection is, in my body. I had a swollen lymph gland in my groin area. Have been taking tests, and may have had a mild kidney infection. I have just found out I have diabetes too. The dr. put me on bextra for the joint pain, and levaquin for the infection. 500 mg for 10 days. I have had NO side affects that stand out. Actually, I feel much better. no joint pain, no nausea, no headaches and no tired feelings. I had all this before I started the levaquin. I did expreience one or two nights of not being able to sleep and feeling anxiety, but with everything else I am going thru.. I just took it as emotional stress. I have taken other antibiotics in the past that have given me a yeast infection.. but the levaquin has done well for me. I only have one left to take. I think allot of the side affects I have been reading are actually allergic reactions.. I was on prozac for 2 wks once, years ago and it put me in the hospital with all the stuff I am reading here. I hope you all get well and recover from whatever is making you sick.. Peace!

I have chronic back aches and headaches. My doctor prescribed Ultracet and I began taking it today. It hasn't TOUCHED my back and neck pain. I'm also worried about insomnia, after reading other people's posts. I don't think this medicine is working for me. Codeine is the only effective pain reliever, for me, with this kind of pain.

I have taken Levaquin several times and I got s sleepless night with the first time. I learned to take it in the morning and drink a fruit glass of warm milk before going to bed so I could sleep. This last dose of Levaquin I am taking, I have nausea and burning stomach as well as back aches. I don't know what to take for my burning stomach as the directions from the pharmacy says not to take anti-acids with Levaquin.
