Bad today symptoms and conditions

well, I made an appt to have it removed on Thursday afternoon (it's Tuesday) but my back was so bad today I decided enough was enough and pulled it out while I was in the bath a couple of hours ago. It was really not painful at all just a little fiddly getting a good grip on the strings, it wasn't even as uncomfortable as pulling out a tampon!
Anyway I took two paracetamol just in case and had a nap. 4 hours later my back pain has completely gone and I don't feel down in the dumps any more hurrah!!! I just hope my other symptoms disappear as quickly as they appeared. I will never have this again.

I just got my mirena 2 weeks ago, 6 weeks after the birth of my 2nd child. A few hours after the insertion i had an intense ringing in my ears which lasted for an hour, it was like I had a radio on in my ear. It was so bad I called the on-call doctor to ask if I should come back and have it removed (I was told to wait until the next day to see if it went away--which it did). I was also very dizzy the first day. I have bled every day since the insertion, like a period but alternates between bright red and brown, and I have cramping. Past 2 days I have pain in my lower left side. Today I tried to find the strings but could not....I think my fingers are too short, to be honest. The pain in my side was quite bad today, i postponed my 2 week checkup because i haven't stopped bleeding--perhaps that was a mistake. The only good thing so far are the intense dreams, very vivid and interesting--almost out-of-body-type lucid. I guess I will find out next week if I'm perforated or if this is normal.

Wow, reading all of this has got me kind of scared. I've been taking Ortho-Tri-Cyclin-Low for almost 3 years, my doctor put me on it, to help with my extremely painful periods, and it worked like a charm. I wasn't sexually active, so I never really worried much about taking it at the same time each day. Other the last several months my life has gotten pretty busy, and its become extremely hard to remember taking the pill each day. I started having sex with my boyfriend earlier this month, we've been using condoms, but they are uncomfortable for both of us, and we don't really want to use them (we were both virgins before this, so we're not worried about STDs). So Friday I went to see my doctor and she suggested Nuvaring, and gave me 5 months worth of samples to try.

I was supposed to have my period this week, I actually quit taking the pill last Tuesday or Wednesday (today is Sunday) because I kept forgetting. So my doctor told me to go ahead and have my period then put the first ring in next week. After reading the information packet and on the nuvaring website I decided to put the ring in last night (Saturday night), and skip my period this month.

I had a headache last night, and its still here (though not quite as bad) today. Today I also started having spotting and mild cramps.

The headache could be from me just getting over the flu (I had that Friday & Saturday), and being tired from the flu. And I'm sure the spotting is probably normal, considering I was supposed to start my period in the next few days, and I've only had the ring in for about 12 hours.

I'm going to be on the look out for side effects though. I sure hope it works for me, because I really am horrible about remembering the pill.

I came upon this site while trying to search about people's experiences with sex while using the ring, because I'm kinda nervous that it will be uncomfortable for my boyfriend and/or I. So if any of you have any input with that, please reply to this. Thank you

October of 2006....I could not get out of bed. My shoulders were hurting so bad,I could not move my arms.I was stiff and in pain.The month of December, I was mostly in bed, missed a lot of work , I felt really bad.
Today, my shoulders are stiff and burning.Still every muscle in my body hurts.Some days I feel like I was run over by a mac truck.
It hurts to hold my head up.

I just finished week 2 of Yasmin and the side effects hit me hard about 3 days ago! Anxiety, heart palpitations, moody, tired, nauseous, headache, did I say moody? My appetite is out of control too! I will not be continuing with this pill. Thank goodness I found this site, as well as another forum - Otherwise, I would have chalked it up to stress in general (I'm a SAHM of 3 children). It got so bad today, I thought about going to the ER!

Guys Iam not having a good day I felt really bad today and yesterday I went out today and went places but it was just hard and I didnt feel good and Iam so sad crying now

I cant have any fun or be happy I felt like achey and just generally not well like I had a small case of the flu. Under my eyes are so puffy what is that. I slept last night but they are puffy.

I cant stop crying now

I dont know what to do anymore or how many more days I can wake up thinbking this is the day i will feel better and than I dont
Iam exhausted from the mental stress of it all I cant feel good

I dont know what to do
Day after day after day of not getting better

I know you guys made it thru but I dont know how I have been tough and strong for weeks and if I was getting better I would believe Iam but I dont feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel

Congratulations!! Great news!! I feel so happy for you! :)

I wish you all the best during your pregnancy and please keep us updated. I think there's no better way to start a new life and show, that there IS a new life after Yasmin than with a little baby in your arms!! This should give so much hope to every woman here, feeling very bad today. Your story is the proof for that!!

Hi everyone,
I need some advice. I have been on Yasmin for about 18 months, 2 months ago I got an itchy vagina but no discharge. The itchiness went but now I have a burning sensation which comes for a few days then goes away again, and then comes back. Its really bad today and I feel I just don't know what to do anymore. I have been to loads of doctors and there is no sign of infection. Do you think it might be yasmin?

I feel rotten all the time but never realized that all these symptons could be a result of the synthroid. I'm tired and old feeling - can hardly walk up a flight of stairs - my heart races - sometimes I'm short of breathe - my skin is so itchy that I want to scratch it until it bleeds - the sweating is really a joke - I can't tolerate the beautiful sun of summer - my stomach is always upset, I'm (pardon the expression) but always constipated.
I feel so bad today that I may consider going to the emergency room - It's Saturday - and my doctors are two states away.
After my thyroid removal in January I was put on 165mcg now I'm on 125 and it still doesn't seem right.
HELP
