Beautiful girls symptoms and conditions

I have taken this Levothyroxine ever since I got Thyroid Cancer in 2006. And thank God I am free from cancer now. My main problem now is that, sometime I really don't know what was wrong with me and get confused over my own feeling. I do have cramps, sleep problem, headache, menstruation problem, mood swing, panic attack and always thinking of a negative thing eg like am I going to die. It has been bothering me since than. Please help I just wanna know is this really due to the medication or its really that I am going to die. I am very confused at times when feeling this side effect. =(

I had Mirena put in on 1-7-09 and went yesterday for a two week check-up. My doctor told me that all the symptoms that I am experiencing are "NORMAL". He told me that for about THREE MONTHS I will be feeling the cramps, and have spotting.....I am hoping that he is telling me the truth, because I am so tired of feeling like this! I have to take Motrin 800mg, every three hours to control the cramping!!!
I am a perfectly healthy, 23 year old with two beautiful girls, I only got Mirena to space my next baby out by like 2 or 3 years..... THIS BETTER BE WORTH IT!!!!

I am the husband to a wife that has Mirena. I married the sweetest,
greatest, prettiest, sexiest most unselfish angel of a woman back
in 2005. I had been in a miserable marriage for 11 years before.
Anyways soon after we were married, she got pregnant and we now
have a precious 2 yr old daughter (and a 10 yr old previous marriage).
6 months after our daughter was born, my wife got on Mirena (the devil pill). She has changed more than you can imagine. She's gained some weight, very moody, severe back pains, bleeding, depressed, absolutely no sex drive, tired, grumpy and just plain mean. She has been a huge part of helping my 10 yr old through lots of life changes (divorce, changing schools, etc) and he just loves her to death but she's been so mean to all of us for the past 14 months. She goes through spells and she'll be herself for a day or 2 then she's right back to the grump. She complained and complained about her back so I went and bought a $1200 mattress and it she still complains. We dated for 2 years and NEVER fought. We
had the best relationship ever but now, all we do is argue. Nothing I do
makes her happy. I'm miserable and I know she is too.
I've approached her about getting the Mirena removed and she talked
to her doctor and he told her that it wasn't the problem and she doesn't think that's the problem. I just wondered if there's anyone out there that can give me some advice on how to convince her to get that thing removed
before it ruins our family.

I have been on Yaz for three months, first two were okay, not I totally feel prego, morning sickness, sore breasts, moodiness, weight gain, odd bowels. I tried to talk to my OB Tuesday and she got a page in the middle of my appt. Babies don't wait. She said to keep taking it she'd see me in month. AHHHH I can't do this, I totally broke down to my hubby last night and he said to stop it now. I have two beautiful girls, am 26, and am crazy!
Yaz has made me feel like my gestational diabetes is back, my head hurts often, I am cramping, lower back pain, irritably, want to sleep all the time, am short tempered with my kids....this is nuts!!!! Trying to get ahold of my doctor again, might just go back to my childhood family doctor. Good luck, I was on depo before my second child and had a horrible reaction to it too, even miscarried after I had been off of it for a year and still hadn't had a period. Birthcontrol stinks, I feel like I am poisoning my body, and why, so I don't have another baby. So I am experiancing, nausea, headache, stomach cramps, depression, crazy feelings, irritability, fatigue, sore breasts, decreased sex drive, morning sickness.

I'm 21 years old and have two beautiful girls me and my husband decided that we didn't want anymore for at least 5 years and then maybe we would talk about it we decided that the Mirena was a good idea because im terrible at remembering to take pills since i haven't never really took anything on a regular daily schedule anyways i had the mirena put in about 2 weeks ago and i was in the ER yesterday for strong abdominal pains also running into my back they wasn't sure if it was from my IUD or if something else ive been having cramping mood swings, and really bad headaches. After reading some of the things all i have written me and my husband have decide it needs to come out thanks for all the warning signs it really helps out to know that your not alone and ill be the first to agree that i would recommend the Mirena!!!!!!!!!

i am a 25 year old wife and mother of 2 beautiful girls
i have had my Mirena for 2 years now and i have a list of symptoms that a lot of you have as well:
mood swings
insomnia, yet tired during the day
acne
weight gain
MARJOR vaginal dryness (makes sex unpleasant)
NO SEX DRIVE
headaches daily
hot flashes
heartburn
dizziness
at my 1 year check up i told my doctor that i had a lack of sex drive and he told me it was normal for tired moms. since then i thought it was just me. in the last month i began to search online to see if it could be anything else. while on web md i found that most of my symptoms we matched up with menopause. could this thing make my mind think i am going through menopause?? i have an appointment with my gyno next month. i am printing off this site to prove it is not just me. i really like the positive effects, no pregnancy, no need to remember a pill everyday, and periods.After reading this site i don't know what i am going to do. i hate the side effects, but it has been so good at preventing pregnancy. basically what is going through my mind right now is, "is the Mirena worth it?"

This is crazy that I stumbled across this website.. as I went on the official website and could NOT find any of the symptoms that I was having listed in there. In fact they state that the side effects would be less than the pill. Well it has been 3 weeks since I have had the Mirena inserted and I have had and extreme headach since, nonstop bleeding, vomiting on some occasions, dizzy and fainting spells, loss of appetite which has caused a sudden loss of weight (some may not mind that part but I really shouldn't lose any more!!), run down, and depressed. I finally called my dr today and explained all of these and they stated that they must see me today. I have 3 beautiful girls and my husband and I are both FINISHED with having children. My reasoning for choosing the Mirena was that my husband was told that he was high risk for excessive bleeding for a vasectomy so I figured I would give this a try. I am not happy with this and would just assume go and have a tubal done!

also to add to my prior email i too was put on toprol to stop heart palps and a fast heart rate. every test i have had done says my heart is fine. I am a 34 yr old mother of two beautiful girls who feels like i cant wake up in the morning to get them ready, or cant wait to go to bed at nite so hopefully i'll feel better the next day. please let me know if this is all to familiar, and what did you do to help it.
