I began taking singulair on Monday, March 26th for a severe allergy/sinus condition with a chronic chough. My family Dr. prescribed a combination of Singular, Claritin and Flonase to combat my allergies or at least to make them less harsh.

Prior to beginning the regiment, I was given a Z-pac to clear up sinus infection. This was one week earlier.

I took the singular at night as instructed by my doctor. I took the Claritin and Flonase in the morning.

I was hoping that the Singular would be the one drug to help stop the annoying cough. On day 6 of the Singular I noticed my cough becomming deeper in my chest. My doctor told me that it takes about 10 days for Singular start working. By day 7 it was difficult to get a good breath between coughing episodes. I am making an appointment with my doctor to see if i should continue on this med. I also experienced some dizzyness. I will probably stop taking this due to this horrible deep cough and thickening of the mucas that is occuring.

Hi,
I have been on Yasmin for about 4 months now, and I have been very moody. Little things make me cry or I get angry really easy. I feel bad for my boyfriend and my family and friends, they are always saying what's the matter and sometimes it's absoutly nothing. My cramps stopped when I started taking this pill but is there another birth control pill that works just as good but doesn't have the moody side effects that this pill has? My best friend is on it too and she said that she was becomming very moody too. I never cry and the smallest things are making me. Should I stop taking this pill and switch to another one? I just don't want anything to happen between me and my boyfriend because of this pill, that would make me very upset.

Thank you!
Kristin

I just read through all the pages of side effects associated with Singulair. I have noticed sore muscles also. I have also itched for no apparent reason. I am going to stop taking it for a while and see what happens. This is important: I am a healthy 25 year old man. I suffer from asthma and have all my life. As I read through the side effects of people who have small children and are noticing a change in behavior;
I myself recognized that as being one of my side-effects. I have had anxiety fits lately, trouble sleeping due to stress, and find myself becomming angry at people for really no good reason.

I've never had any problems with the specific pain behind the ears, but I do wake up often with a variety of headaches, mostly at the nape of my neck. I've blamed it on the pillows until I have read your complaint. As well as headaches, i've also noticed a drastic change in my appetite. After taking the pills, i rarely find myself hungry anymore, is this normal?

I've recently noticed almost an over-sensitivity during sex with my husband. Neither of us have changed drastically, and sex is becomming to be very painful to the point of tears now. I'm wondering if this is due to my pills, which I am on my 4th pack, or if this is due to something entirely different. Is anyone else feeling this as well?
