ive been off yasmin for about 6 months..... wasnt on it for long because it gave me heart palpitations and made me so anxious its not funny... thats been taken care of now... but this month i have got these funny feelings in my head...
its relly weird. sometimes if i turn my head one way i get like a 2 second head spin... kind of like when you smoke a cigarette that is too strong for you.
anyways my whole head in general just feels totally stuffed...
ive read a few other ppl experienced this but is it normal to feel it after 6 months of being off this pill??? shouldnt my symptoms be getting better not worse!
im really scared that something is going on in my head that could be fatal....
any help would be so appreciated!!

I am a 47 year old male. Taking Vasotec 20mg,Norvasc 10mg,was taking toprol 50mg but stopped gradually. Now am totally off toprol and will never go back on it, replaced with hydrochlorothiazide 25mg. Its been about a week since I stoped toprol.
The only real side effect I had was my sex drive and performance. The effect was devastating, really depressed me bigtime. I am slowly geeting function back but its very slow. Does anyone know how long it will take to get back to normal in this area???
Other slight side effects where sleeplessness, tired, stomach problems, bloating.

I was on Levaquin 2 years & Tequin 6 months for prostate infection. Off several months and on Levaquin 1 week late January 2003. Had doctor's treatment on a Hako Pain Machine (like giant TENS unit) and afterwards had tingling & walking-on-springs feeling in right foot. Later felt like I was vibrating in the crotch. Week later had tingling/vibrating all over my body. In legs/feet most of the time but other times all over. It can be terrifying. Local doctors no help so went to Mayo Clinic where diagnosed "small fiber neuropathy" and "diffuse vibratory sensation". I KNOW this is result of the fluoroquinolones. Drugs I have been on either don't work or give side effects too much to tolerate. Doctors I've seen feel it "may" be result of the antibiotics. I am trying low carbohydrate diet and absolutely no sugar as that triggers the vibrating sensation bigtime. So far I have not found anyone with quite similar symptoms to mine.

DOXY SUX BIGTIME. If you want to feel like you have an ax in your forehead and knives in your torso, chow it down. Not just the stomach either, SHARP PAINS in the whole organ area. Also, extreme LETHARGY, if I took on an empty stomach I'd THROW UP, numbness in extremities. Took it so I wouldn't get malaria. The drug company must have an overstock of this & they prescribe it for everything! In other countries you get other drugs for malaria. WTH? Intracranial hypertension?! How scary is that? Of course I read about that after I got the head splitting HEADACHES FROM HELL. I hope it isn't permanent because I still get the headaches & have stopped the devil's drug for 14 days now. You take it 28 days after exposure to mosquitoes has stopped - and every single day you of your trip. Someone is making a ton of ca$h off this poison & they will pay in the next life with the worst karma ever. I thought I was having an aneurysm. (seriously). It was obviously pulled off some countries shelves, renamed, & sold here. DO NOT USE. Going to research intra cranial hypertension now & see if it is permanent.
