Body temp symptoms and conditions

I had my surgery July 16th. Last Lupron shot was June. My period has started back . I think it took about 2 1/2 months for mine to restart. I stop having the severe .irritating night sweats but I still get these off and on hot flashes that are not as severe as they were. I am hoping that the temperature changes will hopefully stop in the next few months. Although I don't like the body temp changes. I feel much better now that I don;t have the severe pelvic pain.back pain . severe abdominal pain . urinary tension and pain . difficulty standing straight and walking and excessive bleeding.

I have now had 18 venofer infusions over the last 16mo.Each time I receive them, within hours I have severe swelling of the IV site and up my arm.And also have severe itching also.It seems to take a week or more for the swelling,itching and pain to go away? The IV didn't come out of my vein,so not intramuscular.Is this normal?Or is there anything I can do to help these symptoms not happen at all? Thank you, P.

I was prescribed Simva 30mg to replace Lipex which is no longer government funded 6 weeks ago. Since taking this medication I am waking up with tingling in my elbows and fingers blurry eyesight and what really worries me and no one seems to have mentioned is low body temp 34.2 and then a reading of 34.8 now averaging around 35.2

Please is anyone out there suffering from low body temp

My 13yr old niece has always been a healthy, active and straight A student. Then on 11/5/08 during a routine physical, she received her 1st dose of Gardasil. On 11/28/08 she started to complain that she felt weak and had a headache. Since it was 2 days after Thanksgiving we thought that she was tired from all the holiday activities. On 11/29/08 she had a headache and stayed in bed all day. She got up that afternoon & had 2 seizures. She was rushed to the ER.
As of today, March 8, 2009 she is still in the hospital in Intensive Care Unit. She has been in critical condition since. Within 2 days after her seizure, she lost the ability to eat,speak,walk and communicate in anyway. She is completely unresponsive. She is on the ventilator, she is basically in a coma. We do know she has an viral infection with a shadow on the left side of her brain. All of the testing that has been done all show negative for any illness or diseases.
We are still unsure if she will come out of this. This has been completely devastating to our family.
We have no answers from doctors. Even though we know in our hearts that this was a side effects from Gardasil. I don't know if they will ever fully admit it.
We are left to watch and wait. That is what the doctors tell us daily..

This is my second time to use Topamax and I am having a different side affect now. I am getting very hot and breaking out in cold chills at the same time. The top of my head was so hot yesterday I had to wet it before I came to work. Has anyone been having problems like this? It says decreased sweating but mine is the opposite.I have the increased body temp. I thinkl.

It took 3 years for me to be diagnosed with hypothyroidism and for a year I tried levethyroxine. This was a total waste of time. I was so exhausted the kids kept missing school, I kept walking into things, couldn't remember anything so I asked my doctor to let me try armour thyroid. This has apparently T4 T3 T2 and T1 and the T2 is the one that helps your metabolism (weight).
The change is nothing short of miraculous...I know it may not work for everyone but it is worth trying. I also had very extreme mood swings and the doctors were considering manic depression, but the latest thinking with that is to take your TSH levels higher before considering drugs such as lithium. I have just moved to Reading and my new doctor thought my T3 levels too high so reduced my armour dosage by half .....BIG mistake. Ended up in bed for days, couldn't remember which day it was, and the mood swings
!!!!!!! screaming, tearing my hair in frustration, punching my boyfriend. I staggered, literally, in tears back to the doctor who reinstated my original dosage of 2 grains one day 3 the next etc. For me my TSH has to be 0.1,
T4 around 14 and T3 around 8 to 9; basically on the high side but my blood pressure stays low as does my body temp and I feel alive again. It is worth trying different variations synthetic T4 AND T3, and don't rule out armour thyroid if nothing else is working after 6 months of use.

I have been taking 10mg of Lisinopril once a day for about a month, at 1st I was prepared to become dizzy due to the warning on the label, however, that never happen. I continued to take it and noticed I was just tired all the time, walking short distances - I became very fatigued in my legs, I would wake up coughing almost choking, terrible headaches which wouldn't go away, feeling bloated, sinus pressure, I would wake up with my head just pounding, increased body temp, but would also get cold really easily. I just thought maybe it was me and perhaps I just wasn't sleeping enough or stressed out, couldn't really understand why I was feeling this way. This weekend, was the worst, I could tell there was something wrong, I couldn't do anything without my blood pressure rising --- my head was killing me. I stayed still most of the day and took aspirin to try to ease my headache. Nothing seem to work, my husband was so worried he wanted me to go to the ER. Being I know it takes a long time in the ER I really just didn't want to have to sit for hours in a waiting room, I didn't go. I started thinking about when I started getting these symptoms -- it was around the same time I started taking Lisinopril. So I looked it up online and saw the side effects - I decided I'd stop taking it. The next day, my headache went away and I've been feeling better since I stop taking it. I know my blood pressure is still high; which is why I was taking this medication to begin with, but it isn't bad as it was when I was taking it. I'm not sure if it can cause your blood pressure to increase, but for some reason mine did. I called my doctor's office today, my doctor isn't in, but I'm not going to be taking this medication any longer. I'm a 55 yo male, that has been taking Vytorin for 6 yrs. A year ago I was diagnosed with Fybromyalgia, at a very large research hospital in St. Louis.
I entered a drug study, but after 4mos had to leave due to a neccessary surgery. I was able to find out, what the medicine was, and contimued taking it. It was Cymbalta. It provided about a 75% reduction in my symtoms, which were: Major muscle pain, throughout my body, fatique, constipation-diarrehea, memory loss(Fybro Fog), erectile dysfunction, body temp, always hot, with sweating, and just feeling tired and crappy 24/7. I accidently came across this site, about 2 wekks ago, and began reading these and other testamonials, and started thinking, maybe it's not Fibrom, but the Vytorin. So I quit taking it. My symtoms have dramatically decreased, almost by 90%. I hadn't told my Doc, so I'll be doing that this week.And run some blood tests to see what my numbers are doing. But I am convinced, Vytorin has something to do with my condition.

OMG!! I thought I was losing my mind untiil I read a post here with my symptoms. Sensations of heat and cold at the same time. Very cold and body temp below 97 degrees. Have been on Advair 250/50 for about 2 years. Shortly afterwards, started having low thyroid and hard to maintain weight. Used to be on Albuteral, Atrovent and Pulmocort. Have emphysema along with asthma component. It is hard to breathe for about 30 min after taking Advair. Want to go back to my old meds, or at least try something different like Foradil, maybe.

I had Hoshimotos Thyroiditis which turned cancerous and thyroid had to be removed . My daughter ( age 36) had the same thing with the same outcome.Since my surgery I had radiation treatment and now I was put on lavoxyl 125Micrograms.I have sleepless nights and no regulation of body temperature .One minute I am hot the ,next I am freezing . At least I don't feel like a walking dead person like when I was off of everything for my radiation treatment, but I still need to find something that will control my body temp and I also get bad headaches and have memory loss.

I am on Prednisone for poison ivy and it is clearing it up. However I notice I am having trouble sleeping, I have an increase in my body temp, and I feel very emotional.
On the upside, my asthma cough is improving and my knee pain (I injuried it 10 years ago) is gone! The first time in 10 years I've walked with no pain! Makes the other symptoms almost worth it for the knee thing.

i typ in "what happen if levoxyl does not work" to goo and i was presented with this site. wow! it seems that this does not work for a lot of people. i sleep all the time. i panic and anxiety. my muscles are stiff. i cannot concentrate and when i cried all the time i told my psychiatrist and he called my dr and the dr upped the med then the crying stopped but i am still tired and unmotivated and hurt all over now it is hard to breath in my chest and yesterday my body temp was 35.222 celsius (which is just above what they call hypothermia) my cat meowed into my ear until i gained consciousness and started to move. i cannot go to the er because they are mad when i ask them to check my thyroid. and they do not care. my thyroid was 47 (or 74) las year when i wnt to the hosp and they drugged me with benedryl and kicked me out. i went home and they were on the phone yelling at me "you are critical!!!!" but i didn't understand what they meant.
for me i think the levoxyl is poison.
i think i will go back to armour if you ask your pharmacist they might order it for you. mine did. and be final when i say , "I WILL NOT TAKE THIS LEVOXYL ANYMORE" if my dr won't give me armour thyroid i will find one that will. i am sick and tired of being sick and tired my skin has lost that youthful look and it is one of the side effects of this horrible thing that i am going through.
