My then 11 year old daughter received her first vaccine in June 2007, and third in December 2007. In January 2008, she began complaining of backaches and headaches. During the spring/summer 2008, she began having tremors, tingling and numbness in her legs and arms. She is always tired and never feels good. We have seen a neurologist and 2 neurosurgeons, had CT scans and MRIs. But no answers. She is on medication that has helped slightly, but she still suffers from a constant headache that she never ranks less that 4 on a scale of 1 to 10. Typically she rates it as a 7 or 8, and we have had a couple of 12s.

I was prescribed 5 mg. Lisinopril at the end of September. It took a couple of months for the cough to develop but it came on very suddenly and uncontrollably. I would have to bring bottled water and cough drops with me everywhere because it would come on so quickly. The doctor said it was bronchitis and prescribed zithromax. Still no relief from the cough. I was also having lightheadedness, joint pain and numbness in my fingers. I went back to the doctor after another month of coughing and was prescribed more zithromax and tussionex cough medicine ($50 a bottle) and was diagnosed with a winter cold even though I told the doctor I had no cold symptoms. I called the doctor after finishing the antibiotics and told her the cough was still the same. She wanted to give me yet another dose of zithromax which I said I didn't want because I did not feel sick and did not want to keep taking antibiotics so she told me she would give me an RX for allergy medicine which I never picked up. At this point I was so upset I went for a second opinion and was immediately taken off the Lisinopril. It took a little more than 2 weeks but the cough and all the other symptoms have now completely disappeared. I trusted this doctor but my body was telling me that something was not right and I'm glad I finally found out it was the lisinopril.

I have been taking the initial dose of Niaspan for 4 weeks, one 500 mg tablet at bedtime. I really experienced no side effects at all. This week I started on the second step and increased the dose to two 500 mg tablets at bedtime. Every night I have been waking up with diareaha. It always seems to subisde during the day, but after taking my bedtime dose, I'm up again in the middle of the night. Any suggestions?

I have been on prednisone for two years. I started out at 30 mg, and now down to 2 mg. Yes, I look like a pear with my mid section very large and my back as well. I've gained 20 lbs. during this time and feel just awlful and full all the time. I'm 51, and really have trained myself not to munch. I do drink plenty of bottled water. I find it helps and rids me of feeling full.

I have only taken the medication for 24 hrs and have noticed a difference. My taste buds are all messed up. Im a chocolote lover and it doesnt even taste right. I can taste the minerals in bottled water which tastes crappy to me - nothing i like tastes like it use to. reading all the posts kind of scares me - can anyone tell me how long it was when you first started to notice the hair loss? Thanks.

Have been off Advair since last August. Have used Albuterol daily until 26 days ago. Been on water and sea salt that was recommended by a friend by Dr. F. Batmanghelidj. It has helped me tremendously, even though I have had a couple of days that I thought I would have to break down and use my inhaler. Yesterday was one. Wheezed and coughed for several hours, but finally subsided that afternoon and I'm fine today. Each time I get through an episode without meds, I feel I'm getting stronger. I use the sea salt liberally--it does cut the phlemgh.
I haven't seen a doctor since last May when he diagnosed my with high blood pressure (which I never had before) He prescribed Norvasc but I never had it filled. I was on Advair for at least 2 years. He took care of the asthma, but I gained 25 lbs., developed high blood pressure, couldn't sleep at night, my friends said I was jittery, skin thinned and bruised like I had aged 15 years in just 2.
You won't find a doctor who believes in the sea salt - especially after being diagnosed w/high blood pressure. But Campbell's Soup is coming out with new soups w/sea salt that are supposed to lower the sodium.
I figure this doctor has little to gain. He doesn't even recommend bottled water or any brand of sea salt. I guess he would profit from the book - but it is inexpensive and you can pretty much find his info on the internet.
If anyone tries this and has luck or no luck, please post it.

Hill,
The "brain zaps" I was feeling were very short (1-3 seconds) where I felt like my brain shut off or I blacked out. I did not faint or anything like that. I just felt a squeeze in my head for a brief time. If I was speaking and it happened, it would take me a moment to remember how to finish my sentence.
After a few weeks off of Yasmin, they stopped. I NEVER had them before Yasmin.
I wish I saw this site the day I started Yasmin. I would have been able to correlate the two.
The lowest dose of Effexor is helping with the anxiety/zaps as well. I also do not take any caffeine. I drink lots of bottled water every day.
Keep us posted.....

If you see a doctor, please ask them to check niacin levels because I believe that there is a link with a niacin impairment issue. Please check more at ****** if you want additional information and also file a VAERS report immediately so they will get this vaccine off the market! I am not a medical person but have done tons of research. Please pass the word to EVERYONE you know!
