I was on Fosamax for over 7 years and in October of 2006 I broke my left femur. in March of 2007 I broke my right femur. I now believe that the fosamax is what caused the brakes. Both times my leg just broke each time I just slipped and when I tried to catch myself my let torked a little and the leg broke. I had been having lots of pain in both legs and had been experiencing lots of weakness in the muscle of both legs I was also having pain in both knees and was having trouble walking. I have also had lots of neck and back pain. Have had MRI and could never find any thing wrong. I quit taking fosamax last June and am better but still have lots of weakness in the muscles on my legs. I have no idea how long it take for fosamax to get out of your system Will I ever be the same. I am 65 years old and I know some is just age but I know many women much older that I am that have much less problems that I have.

I became very angry over little things and was very depressed. Reacted explosively when I made little mistakes or couldn't do things the way I wanted it to be done. Wanted to pick up things and throw them. It was like I had a lot of angry issues inside of me that I had to get out. Yet, I had nothing going on in my life that was creating any of this type of anger, so therefore, there was no reason for me to behave like this. I would raise my car out in the country as fast as I could do and then at last minute would slam on the brakes to slow down for a stop sign or a curve, All because I was angry of something very, very little. Finally had my Doctor take me off this medicine. Within a few days, I was back to my normal self.

I've had my Mirena for about 15 and a half months and I am having it removed today at 2 o'clock. At first I had sharp pains when I would sit down and I felt like the cords were poking me and irritating me. My OB/GYN requires patients to come back one month after having it put in so he can check it and make sure it is still in place. At this visit he also trimmed the cords although he acted like he didn't believe me when I told him that I could feel them poking me when I sat down and that it hurt. At first I didn't notice any bad side effects, but I did have one good one: my periods stopped, but I still had occasional and sporadic spotting. I didn't think to look for any bad side effects because I got the device under the impression that it had no bad side effects. I thought it only had a rare complication of perforating the uterus, but since mine was in place at the one month check, I didn't think about anymore until I started thinking about having another baby recently. I went online to see if I had to have a doctor remove the Mirena or if I could do it myself, and I found out that it's best done by a professional because bad things can happen and then you'd have to go to the doctor anyway. Plus, I didn't want to hurt my chances of having another baby. While online I discovered this whole world of message boards where women were having a lot of the same problems I'd been having in recent months and they all blamed their Mirenas. Some claimed that their problems had gone away since having it removed. I never thought to link my circumstances to the Mirena, but when I saw how many women are having the exact same problems as me I knew that I needed to go ahead and get mine out ASAP. Here is a list of my side effects, and I've found other women have had them as well with Mirena: weight gain, bloated stomach, depression, short temper with husband and daughter, acne, low sex drive, spotting, cramps, constipation, and back pain. There may be more, but I can't remember them all right now. Some of them may not even be related to the device, but I've read of so many women with Mirena who are having or have had the same issues, so I suspect a link between my problems and Mirena. I hope this helps someone out there looking for answers. God Bless!

I keep getting dizzy, quick blackout and fainting spells since taking this medication. I also get sweats/chills. I also urinate more and am always tired. I am thinking it may be from the medication but my doctor says no and I am not sure I believe him unfortunately. Did anyone else have these spells when taking lisinopril?

My seven year old son has been on singular for over four years. He talks a lot about death. He constantly cries about his dead grandmother which he never knew. He is a very smart child and lately I have realized that something bothers him. He is starting to cry often and feels very depressed. This is what he says when he cries: “My brain thinks bad thoughts about you, (mom and dad). Mom, I really love you and daddy, but my brain does not listen to me. My brain tells me bad things about you like to get a knife and stub you to death, or get a gun and kill you. Please mom make my brain squish the bad juice away and live only the good thinking on it. I know that you love me but my brain tells me different.”
My son is begging for help and every day he tries so hard not to have bad thoughts. He tries to hug us and kiss us a lot, but I see on his little eyes that something is wrong. The first time this thing happened I thought maybe a TV show or something made him think so. I am becoming very worried about him and started research on the computer. I don't know what causes his depression, but I know for a fact that he is depressed. He is our only son and gets all the love and attention.
Although he has been on singular for a long time, I have given it to him regularly only the last five months, since his doctor urged me to do so. Before I gave him the singular only when his allergies acted up. When he got better I would completely stop it. I didn't know anything about singular, but I don't like using medicine, and that is the reason I did not use it regularly.
My son has other similar behaviors that are out of his character like no desire to raise, get angry, worry that I would die, behavior problems at school, he thinks he is stupid although he is a straight A student, has nightmares, is scared that he would die, can't concentrate, is scared to be by himself etc.
It brakes my hart to see my baby being depressed. I will stop the singular to see if he will get better. I pray to God he will.
English is my second Language. Sorry for any inconvenience.
