Bye bye symptoms and conditions

I too am having many of the side effects listed on this site including chest pains, fatigue, shortness of breath, foggy head, dizziness, to name a few. I am wondering if anyone has had heartburn or an increase in heartburn while being on this drug. They have recently switched me from Toprol to the generic form, Metaprolol. More of these symptoms seem to have come on since switching to the generic. Any thoughts?

Just one question I have been on this stuff at the beginning dose for less than a week. My eyes hurt, my head is about to explode, I am sick as a dog, I lost 5 pounds, I can't eat, constipated, can't sleep, can't function, ringing in my ears, and the ADD is unbelievable. I am a medical transcriptionist I kind of need to be able to work, no work, no pay. Topamax is going bye-bye for sure but how long till the side effects go away?

I am 45, male on lipitor for about 2 months now. I am experiencing kidney pains that wake me up at night. I have been noticing dark urination prior to the kidney pain coincidently. After doing a quick search for information on it I find that the statin medication Lipitor is the culprit - OBVIOUSLY. Not waiting for advice from a doctor to tell me what to do about it. Bye Bye Lipitor and hello more excercise with an increase in fresh friuts and vegetables in my diet. Good luck to all taking this drug.

I was proscribed Yasmin for acne problems but straight away, I experienced nausea. I didn't take a liking to it at all because it constantly made me want to vomit all the time. But still, I was willing to trial it to treat my acne. After about a month of using it, the vomiting sensation didn't go away. Does anyone else experience the same problem? Finally, I gave it up altogether and switched to Diane35. I found Diane35 a much better treatment for acne without the vomiting side affects.

I have had a rash in my pubic area (especially along panty line) since I started the ring back in late October. I went into the doctor and they said it looks like Herpes. I have had no exposure to the STD as I have been with the same partner for over 6 months and he has no symptoms. Bye bye NuvaRing!!!!!!

I am so happto (well, as happy as I can feel right now) - to read your posts - I was really starting to think I was losing it! I am a stay-at-home mom and I have just been sooo bitchy at my husband and poor daughter this last couple of weeks, now that I have read this I am saying BYE-BYE to the ring. I have cramps every day now, water retention, feel exhausted, and NO sex drive. Plus these very weird and very scary bursts of anger (I am usually a bit irritable at these things but now I am full-blown furious). Plus I am sooo itchy!!!! I hate this thing!

I'm a 59 year old male who has sleep apnea among other things. The apnea seems to be getting worse and my sleep disorder physician (pediatric neurologist) prescribed Singular for my allergies as it doesn't have steroids in it. I have taken 4 pills and have had the weird dreams, strange sleep, major muscle aches, cramps in the back and along ribs, head aches and sore throat described by others although it worked great for the first day. I am now feeling the "hyper" and semi-depressed feelings that others have described. Bye Bye Singular!!!!

Oh My Goodness, I wish I would have read all these wonderful post before last night. My doctor put me on this horrible medicine. I developed a very bad sore throat and lost my voice for three days. During this time I was so worn out and tired all the time! My doctor said I had a viral infection, I got better and started taking the medicine again, last night. I woke up with a sore throat and tonight after work I am throwing all this medicine away. I don't like all the side affects headache, constant thirst, weight gain, etc.. Bye Bye Singular

I am a 61 year old female. I have been on Zocor eight years. after a heart attackat age 53. At first it was 10 Mg, then when I changed Doctors,about 2 years ago, my Zocor changed to 20 Mg, then about a year ago she moved me up to 40 Mg. She does't know I am splitting the pill and taking half of 40 Mg each day. After reading all these other patients problems, I am going to stop for a while to see if I feel any better. I have just about every side effect that I have read about today.The most noticeable is severe fatigue, weakness, ears ringing, fuzzy headed, trouble sleeping,headahes,vivid dreams,mostly bad dreams and irritability. I also take celebrex, klonopin.doxipin and an aspirin a day. I am so glad I found this Web site. I feel sure that I have been taking Zocor toooo long. Bye Bye Zocor.

6 MONTHS ON YASMIN. THIS IS SOMETHING I COULD NEVER GET USED TO . I SWEAR THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT YAZMIN IS I ONLY GET MY PERIOD FOR 2 DAYS AND WITH MINIMAL CRAMPS. I SAY GO CONDOMS. THE PILL IS UNNATURAL AND MAKES YOU FEEL SICK ALL THE TIME. FOR ANYONE WHO'S ONLY CONCERN IS THE MOOD SWINGS. THEY GO AWAY AFTER YOU 4TH PACK.
