Caduet symptoms and conditions

Started using Caduet in 2005. Found I got the usual side effects plus swollen ankles. Doctor changed my PX to Lisinopril about a year ago.Seemed to work well, lower BP and no side effects. About 2 months ago started getting lightheaded,nausea,and a few other side effects. Is it common to use this drug for that long and then get the side effects? How long will it take for these effects to go away if use is stopped?

Shortly after starting the lipitor I developed hand pain mostly my fingers and especially my thumbs. I stopped the Lipitor and the pain in my hands and finger went away except for my thumbs. I have a trigger thumb which I can bend with a great deal of pain on my right hand and my left hand has now developed a trigger thumb as well. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this type of side effect as my doctor feels it is just coincidence and that I have developed arthritis. I have not had any arthritic pain in my hands until now.

started taking 5mg lipitor after my complete age 50 phisical, everthing fine but cholestrol was @ 296, blood pressure was always borderline,but good resent years ,I knew I would be on some med. as I got older, after 3months went back cholestrol was 207, doctor said great but wow you gained 9 pounds, I knew it was @ my gut & felt bloated w/o eating any differently, also blood pressure was 150/98, he put on Caduet 5/10, 3 mos. later still 150/98, now both elbows hurting ,started writing prescription for cortizone,I said no thanks,I'll baby them a while, now on Caduet& Lisinopril20mg.for blood pressure,why blood pressure spiked,big gut,&elbow pain both same time,I'm active@ job, gym 3 times aweek& good shape, anyone w/same complaints?

Pain in knee and foot. Pain during walking so I had to limp. I am taking Welchol 625 mg. 3 tablets two times a day after meal, total 6 tablets a day.
