Cheese grater symptoms and conditions

I have been on Prednisone for about 3 to 4 months now and I am rapidly gaining weight, and my face is puffy and looks swollen. I am hoping that it has not had any effect on my eyes, as I have implants in both of them. In the past months I went from 140 lbs to 168. and frankly I have had to cut my pills in half and reduce the amount of the medication. I take 1/2 pill twice a day But this has not helped the fact that I am all broken out on my chest and back with a rash that itches like it needs scratching with a cheese grater. Now what do you do .
