Wavy feeling of anxiety in my head (like I used to get from codeine). Fuzzy feeling in big toes. Dry, choking cough when I lay down at night. Now, I am morbidly obese and have bad acid reflux. If I don't take Prilosec every day, I cough. I also have sinus/allergy problems. So I take Claritin-D. And for health benefits, I take baby aspirin. So I'm wondering if it is the combination or if I am getting ready to have a stroke. It's my own fault for being so overweight, but it is frustrating. I also have swollen ankles and legs. And lately I feel like I have to pee too frequently and that I'm not quite able to finish. This worries me because I was feeling like this before I found out I needed surgery to remove an ovary due to a very large cyst. I wonder if I am getting another one.

Wow! My husband and I have thought recently maybe I should stop using Zyrtec. Maybe it is causing my lethargy, weight gain, difficulty sleeping, inability to work for more than an hour doing anything, intense hunger. I have taken Zyrtec year round for several years since living in Santa Fe where I developed bad allergies. There I took it in conjunction with Nasonex. After leaving there I couldn't afford it so I switched to day hist but I started sneezing and had an itchy nose constantly. Sinus infections also. So I started Zyrtec full time a few years ago. I can't lose weight to save my life and have no energy. Depression-yes. I would never have thought I would experience that. My journals are full of it. But I thought it all was because of "the change" because I was under the impression there weren't any side effects. But I am all organic and still struggling with trying not to gain anymore weight. I have a terrible time just trying to clean one room without feeling wasted! I don't look forward to stopping but I have got to see if this is affecting me this way, Thanks to all. I want me back!

I went to my family doctor for some mild allergy problems. He prescribed me a daily Claritin-D and suggested that I get a shot of kenalog seasonally (4 times a year). I allowed him to do the first shot, that was almost 9 months ago. I am not sure when the dimple at the top of my right cheek started, but it is now noticeable to me. After googling "butt indentation" and I came across this page. Fortunately I did not go back for the other 2 kenalog shots I was supposed to get, and I am sick to my stomach that this thing is permanent. My doctor has lost a patient due to the fact that I feel misinformed about the possible side effects of something he seems to prescribe so easily. I also, have lost a little pride in the fact that I used to be very proud of my ass and now even though most people will never notice it, I know it's there... :(

Claritin-D really works for preventing my allergies to pollens, molds and animal dander. I did begin to notice that I would have very vivid nightmares on days that I was taking it. I started taking it early in the morning, and it lessened the intensity of the dreams.

My daughter who is 8 has been taking singulair for about 3 years. Her behavior has changed so much and the doctors said it was normal kid things......
She went from a sweet child to one who seems to have these horrible mood swings which cause her to lash out and say mean things, nobody loves her, she wants to run away, she hates me. She gets so angry and slams doors and acts like a child having a tantrum. She has had stomach problems which we went to doctors/specialists for a year......stomach aches at night/sometimes 24 hours a day. She has nightmares and wants me to sleep with her. She does not want to open her curtains because she thinks monsters will come in the windows. She has bad OCD related to germs. She now wants me to go with her when she plays at a neighbors house, she seems to want to know I am close by.
She is very independent and to start this clingy behavior this past year is not normal.
A relative is a doctor and thought my daughter has a touch of ADH but she is honor roll and very well behaved in school so maybe my relative is noticing anxiety in her. I need to call the doctor today and take her off this. I don't know if there is another medication to put her on or if she should be on it. She takes qvar and abuterol inhaler along with claritin D.
I just feel sick reading all these horror stories. I was being told her behavior is normal tantrums to get our attention. Now I know none of this is true.

I have taken Geodon for a few years and thought the drug worked well. I had less psychotic ideation. The dosage has increase slowly over the years and I felt even better when I went from 3 60 mg pills per day to 3 80 mg pills per day. I also take Concerta 52 mg, Wellbutrin XL 270 mg, Klonopin 20 mg at night, Claritin D, fish oil, flax seed oil. The only odd side effects are a diminished orgasm and cold chills in my chest. The cold chills have subsided since I increased to 240 mg per day. I seem to be very dependent on Geodon because if I am late on a dosage, I feel miserable. My memory is not very good and I used to have an excellent memory. Most of the comments I read have been negative. I believe that overall, my experience with Geodon has been good.

I was diagnosed with Influenza B and have been taking a coctail of Tamiful, Zpac, Mucinex, Claritin D, and Tynolel. Fevor broke after first dose, next day I felt good but on the 3 and 4th days I was experiencing a "high" like that of being on marijuana or alcohol. Not really a bad thing because I was not working or going to school, but still, a side effect.

I have been taking Lisinopril for about 1 year now because of high blood pressure. I believe that my case is due to genetic reasons, but from reading these posts, it seems like I am going to aggressively seek natural methods in loweirng my blood pressure as an alternative. I have experienced most of the side effects listed in all of these posts including: dry cough many times throughout the year, increased sensitivity to allergies (Never had any allergies before taking Lisinopril), shortness of breath, chest pain daily, respiritory problems, upper most of the time, lightheadedness, fatigue, lack of motivation in workouts and cardio workout, heart palpitations, irregular heart beat, feelings of anxiety during heart related sensations, and I am only 29. I have never had any major health issues and truly believe that Lisinopril is making me older and less healthy feeling than I should feel. I regularly workout but lately have felt useless in the gym and run out of energy very quickly. After reading the many posts here, I am very relieved to know that my heart and lung sensations are due to a drug and not a mysterious illness. I am going to go off the drug and evaluate my side effects and blood pressure. Hopefully I can get back to a normal life and feeling healthy again because I have many years ahead of me and have 3 children that I would really love to raise and see become successful. I have found when I do have the cough that taking claritin d gets rid of the cough in two days, but never did I suspect blood pressure medicine. As with many of the new medications, you can treat your ailment, but you will also gain 20 other problems that you didn't have before. Is it worth it? I believe not. I would trust in god and rely on healthy living to take care of yourselves. Be careful of big corporations greed because it will lead you to an early grave!!!!!

Oh my! I've been having severe anxiety since i've started singulair. The anxiety leads to shortness of breath which is extremely scary r someone with my medical condition. I had to have valve replacement surgery 4 years ago so I am very sensitive to any abnormal feelings I have. I took claritin d or about 8 years and I wanted to get off this drug because of the pseudoephedrine. I am off this drug starting tomorrow and will take regular claritin without the pseudoephedrine. The anxiety I had was so great I might actually consider legal action.
