ok, so I am 28yrs old just had my lap for endo on October 1 and my doctor has recommended lupron, and am going to be getting the med in a week to 2weeks,but after reading this I am soooooooooo scared to even get near this med. Its like you either take this with the hope of saving fertility and no pain..or not and have endo ravage your body and you will live with unbearable pain!!! I have no idea what to do,and i am so scared after reading this. Is there anyone that did not have weight gain, headaches etc...anyone that can testify that lupron actually worked for them? did any one have a baby after doing this. my bigs thing is being able to have a baby. Cause right now its my health on the line, my ability to have children, my ability to have a normal life free of endo pain or these crazy, horrible side effects...please help me!!!

I'm a 45 y/o female with PCOS, T2 Diabetes, IR, and a history of infertility. Back before I knew I had PCOS, I was prescribed clomid, and was finally able to get pregnant. Anyway, after my 3 girls were born ( the last 2 were twins), I went on Nuvaring. LOVE It. I have none of the symptoms anyone else here describes. It keeps me regular, and helps me avoid perimenopause hot flashes and sweats. Once I tried experimenting with going off of the nuvaring (so that I could use supplemental progesterone cream), and I gained weight!! Like, 18 POUNDS! My periods stopped and I was a mess. My endo had me go back on the nuvaring, and I resumed normal periods, and life. But now, I am being asked to give it up again, because it was noted during a recent colposcopy (exam with a magnifying scope as part of a follow up to an abnormal pap), that I have vaginal inflammation. I was told to go off the nuvaring. Well, I didn't even know I had vaginal inflammation. Now I'm off the ring, and .... guess what? My weight is going UP again. Has anyone else experienced weight GAIN with DISCONTINUATION of their NuvaRing? It was explained to me that since I have PCOS, the nuvaring might have helped to keep my weight down as it was suppressing my excess testosterone. GADS! What to do?

i was on it for about a year and a half and i have never had any problems with PMS symptoms but about 3 months after i started taking it I would have mood swings. My libido also went down and I began gaining weight around my hip area. This past fall i stopped taking it b/c my husband and i were ready for children. I stopped in September and then I did not have a period until I had to take Provera from my doctor. We were hoping that this would just help my system get started back but it did not and we had to then take Clomid to successfully become pregnant. There are many other sites talking about this particular drug and many women have had the same issues.

I am 20 years old and had the mirena put in about a year ago. I experienced bad cramping, bleeding off and on, terrible weight gain, and depression. About 7 months after my mirena, I was put on Lexapro for depression. A couple of months ago, I was having severe cramping and I went back to my doctor, they did an ultrasound and found a cyst on my right ovary...I was supposed to go back three weeks later. The next week, I was cramping soooo bad that I called back to the doctor and they did another ultrasound...now there were two cysts on my right ovary. I had laproscopic surgery two weeks ago Friday. During this surgery they found a dermoid cyst on my left ovary they couldn't remove it, so I went for the second surgery last Friday...They had to remove my left ovary and the cyst was the size of a softball. My chances on having children are slim. My mom looked on the internet and found that a lawsuit had been filed in Portland, OR by ATTORNEY ******. They are supposed to be calling us back this week. If anyone is interested, please give her a call. The more we have call this attorney, then we may get a class action lawsuit started.

I posted on here several months back. I got the Mirena taken out at the beginning of January after having it in for about 6 months. At first I loved it because I didn't connect all the symptoms I was having to the Mirena since my obgyn reassured me that there were no side effects with Mirena. I had many symptoms including severe insomnia, weight gain (about 40 lbs in 6 months), acne, facial hair, sharp cramps, back pain, just to name a few! After moving and getting a new dr I was able to convince her I needed it taken out. I lost 15 lbs in the first 10 days of having it out without trying (now I'm actually trying to get the rest off) and started sleeping better about 4-6 weeks later.

Anyway...now my problem is that I am not getting my period and I'm not ovulating. I had my period about 2 days after I got it taken out but haven't had another one since. My husband and I were so excited that first month of not having my period because we thought we were pregnant. MANY pregnancy and ovulation tests later we are worried we may never get pregnant. I am wondering if anyone else has had problems conceiving after getting Mirena taken out. Or if you were able to conceive, did it take a long time?

I am on day 2 of Femcon FE for an ovarian cyst that developed from the Clomid I took last month. I had a terrible headache yesterday and today I have pains in my lower right side (not the side with the cyst) and feel crampy. I am also very tired and irritable and have NO appetite. I am thinking of stopping the pill and just dealing with the cyst on my own. I am sure that I will have spotting now that I am going to stop!

I've been taking Femcon for a few days to get my periods regular again, (to actually get pregnant! go figure), and I take it about 5pm. I feel sick about 9pm and then again when I wake up. It's awful. I'm gonna see if there is another time of day that will make me feel better. Otherwise.... :-(

Since taking Clomid, Ive suffered with anxiety and panic attacks. I wondered if this has happened to anyone else and what they did to get back to normal. Thanks

I am also unhappy with Yasmin - have been taking it for about 3 years because I do not get a regular period. I am married, used clomid to get pregnant and my husband has had a vasectomy - so pregnancy is not the problem. My question - if I no longer want to use Yasmin do I just stop taking it? Do you need to be weaned off? Thanks.

I took ovidrel and was wondering if can delay your cycle?

I also took clomid and dont see cycle delaying as a side effects.
my period is 5 days late. I took a blood test and it was negative. Is there any margin of error for taking the blood test to find out if we are pregnant. We are nervous
