After injected inter-muscularly into upper back, traps and neck area, I immediately felt a numb sensation on face lips inside mouth back of throat and dizziness to the point where I was certain I was going to faint. Days, into 2nd week there was still pain at injection sites, tiredness, fatigue, nausea and a constant sore throat. At end of 2nd week after injections, I woke up with a 'mysterious' hive-like rash on my back, abdomen and arms, while asleep one night, that I had never experienced before. My doctor had me take Zyrtec and and cortisone cream on the itchy rash. The day it cleared, I experienced bleeding from my ear, pounding in ear and head. Another thing never experienced before. Others have said he tolerate it well or have lesser side effects than me. I will NEVER allow that to be injected into me again.

Hello, I'm not sure if this is a side effect of being switched to Metoprolol Succinate ER from Toprol XL at 50 mg dose once daily or not but since I have been I've had a constant sore throat and mainly at night. If anyone else has experienced a similar problem please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I have been experiencing a flu like symptom for over a year now. They started about 2 months after I began taking 350mg of lamictal a day. Symptoms include exhaustion, headache, soar/achy throat, post-nasal drip, TONS of nausea, lack of digestion & regurgitation of food. I am tired and feel warn out all the time... I have had everything checked by doctors and they've found no health reasons to explain these symptom's.
HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS????

November 25, 2007 - I am a 42 year old woman, tall very thin, and always in good health. I was prescribed Singular for mild asthma symptoms, ie.. asthmatic cough-very mild, heavy feeling in the chest, constant sore throat (my work requires me to use my voice a lot). Initally my symptoms improved, I was thrilled! But, after about a month I got up one morning and thought I was having a stroke - my head was killing me, and my heart was pounding so hard! I took my blood pressure only to find that my normally low pressure was now 144/105! My pulse ws nearly 100 beats/min. That's just while I was sleeping! I was shocked! The only meds I was on was the Singular. I decided to do a little experiment on myself. I immediately stopped taking the Singular and kept a record of my blood pressure. It took about 3 days for my blood pressure to come back down to normal levels. I have noticed some weight gain as well. I will not take this drug again!

I was started on Advair HFA about 35 days ago. A little background about me is that I'm 35 years old, in good physical shape. I'm a competitive cyclists doing road races anywhere from 45-100 miles, I work out 2-4 hours everyday. I've had lifelong chronic asthma, but have fought the disease with my healthy lifestyle. I also play the saxophone.
Since I've been on Advair I've developed a constant sore throat. Been coughing up stuff constantly when I'm out training on my bike. Can't seem to sleep for more than a few hours at a time. The worst side affect has been the leg cramps which are killing my training for up coming races. I have constant leg cramps that force me to get out of bed over and over to work them out. My energy levels have dropped to the point that I can't do even half a workout without being totally wiped out. This is coming from a guy that averages 60miles a day on the bike, the other day I couldn't even do 15 miles and had to stop from the constant cramps and tiredness. This stuff is a nightmare. I've gone back to using nothing but my albuterol inhaler. I'll continue to do lung exercises 4 times a day and completely clean up my diet and basically get this stuff out of my system. Let this be a warning that you can't get something positive without something negative as well.
