I've taken Ambien only once or twice with no side effects. My boyfriend however, takes it every night. He goes on ALL night eating binges, consuming almost everything in the kitchen. In the morning, the kitchen is littered with empty peanut butter jars, cracker boxes, cold cut wrappers, ice cream containers, jelly jars, left over take out boxes, etc. etc. This is what he consumers in just one night. This also happens night after night. I've asked him about it, and have had conversations with him while this is all going on. He seems lucid, but has absolutely no memory of his eating in the morning..But this new problem happened just the other night. We had what I thought was really terrific sex..You could have knocked me over when he said he did not have any memory of it what so ever This really scared me, and really got me thinking. He seems very sluggish during the day, without much energy. He has basically stopped going to the gym every morning, and I can see that he's putting much less effort into his very lucrative business. I've mentioned Ambien as a possible cause of these behaviors, but he doesn't seem totally convinced...What else could it be?

Resumed taking 81 mg of aspirin as recommended by the Dr after a minor MI three years ago. Just realized that the same symptoms I had with shortness of breath and weakness I had experienced then until I stopped at the time after a year on the aspirin because I was tired of the bruising and upper GI problems and vision disturbance, the aspirin is probably the culprit of my extreme shortness of breath also! I ran out of or forgot to load my weekly vitamin containers with the aspirin I started using just two days ago and have experienced much relief from the extreme breathlessness! I am going to conduct an experiment and go back on the aspirin in a couple of days to see if my hunch is right, I think this may be an answer to prayer for me as I was on the verge several times of calling my Dr the last few days it was so severe.

My girlfriend is 36 she had a kidney infection and got Levaquin IV in the hospital. Her legs were going numb and she could hardly get up to go to the bathroom in the hospital. She thought it was her infection. They sent her home two days later with 5 pill containers. One of them was Levaquin. She called me today and said she is having terrible pains in her hands, wrists, hips, and knees. She says she cant make a fist or hold a bag of groceries and her hands have swollen up so that she cant get her rings off. I told her I would do a search on the net to see if it might be one of the drugs she was taking. Slowly but surely I made it to the Levaquin. The drug maker fairly non chalantly refers to tendon rupture as a side effect effecting mostly people over 60 years old. I dug a little further and found this web site and was amazed at how many people are being poisoned by this drug. I am praying if she stops taking it the pain and debilitating effects will go away quickly. She has two disabled boys she has to take care of, including lifting them into wheel chairs and into beds. This is no joke! I am so angry at this drug maker and these doctors who often times do more harm than good.
