Where do I begin??? I have been taking Yaz for six months. Migraines! The worst migraines ever, I cannot function for one full day and sometimes more, the pain was so intolerable.
Hives! For the past two months, I keep thinking that I had a food allergy; even my doctor diagnosed it as that. After going to the allergist, I was told that I have developed an allergy to the Yasmin pill. No part of my body has been discriminated with this medication. Hives from the top of my head, in my eyes, right down to the bottom of my feet! This has been the worst experience of my life with this pill.
Fatigue to the extreme! I fall asleep sitting up and never feel rested. Yaz has caused me to go up two cup sizes so far, I went from being a 38C to a 40DD and I can't fit into anything. My boobs are sore a lot.

I have been taking Yasmin for nearly 4 weeks now. I am just onto my second pack without a break as I have been advised to take 3 packs in a row without a break. I have had continous nausea since I started taking Yasmin. I feel sick at the thought or smell of food. I am utterly exhausted all the time and feel weakness in my chest and breathless at the slighest thing. I have had cramps for the past 2 weeks. I was put on this for heavy periods and am wondering if it is worth all the trouble. Anyone else feel exhausted and sick all the time? I have been wearing travel sickness wrist bands and taking ginger tablets but i dont know how much longer i can feel like this. Does it pass?

Continous aches and pains in shoulder and knee joints, both sides. Shoulders ache while sleeping, and during physical activity. Taking 10 mg for about a year now.

After taking this medication for one week I felt worse than before I started. I've had continous throbbing in my head, no appetite, no sleep and extremely dry mouth. I thought this medicine was going to make me feel better. After reading this, I'm throwing them out today.

Hey guys, I am a nineteen year old with PCOS. I am so amazed by what I've read here. You all hit it dead on, with the headaches above/behind the right eye, the dizziness, the breast swelling and tenderness and the nausea. I've had a continous period for nearly 6 weeks now..I was given hormones to induce my period, but my gyno said that it should only last 2-3 weeks at the most.. After it started, I took the Yasmin and have been bleeding ever since. I'm only taking Yasmin to regulate my period. I haven't had any problems with my skin, but I have problems when I stand up, just a very lightheaded feeling..I'm constantly hungry..but I walk a lot, so my weight has stayed about the same. I think my vision has gotten worse and I've had the fatigue that you are all talking about. Now that I know that other people are having the exact same side effects that I am, I'm getting off this pill! If anyone would like to talk about this, email me at

Heres my Levaquin horror story:
In hospital for bowel obstruct. Took LevaQ. at home. 1/2 way through I noticed I wasn't feeling any better but worse while recovering. Starting sleeping for 3 hr intervals, while up I would feel as if I wanted to jump out of my skin. Calf pain. Dizziness. Intermittent instenseTingling around mouth and face. Called my MD.
-- By michie | Reply | (1) replies | Private Message meI was put back in hospital due to a platelet count of 'one million'. My MD who is wonderful, consulted with others, even an oncologist. I refused a bone marrow aspiration, so they came up with a game plan -- possible reaction to the Levaquin???? So... 'flush out the Levaquin'. With each day of continuous mass flushing of IV fluids....my platelets decreased daily.
3 years later...I getting intermittent tingling, flu like symptoms, dizziness, heart palpitations, extreme fatigue-------------still looking for answers to my illness. Just had more blood work - lymphocytic profile was drawn, waiting on results. Definitely am anemic, chronic slight rise in liver enzymes with last sed rate and wbc count in norm range.
