Below is the latest ADR report on Singulair from the United Kingdom. I deleted side effects reports by very small numbers of patients in order to keep the post briefer. This shows the total number of reports since Singulair was approved in the UK.

I don't know the total number of prescriptions for Singulair in the UK. It is considered expensive.

After being diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, I was given Cipro at the hospital. My heart started racing to the point that it was hard to breath. After a while, this symptom went away. Three days later, after continuing to take Cipro, I started to feel tingling sensations all over my body, and a fiery burning sensation on my right lower back. I also had patches of numb areas all over, and suffered from muscular spasms. I developed horrible agitation episodes and tachycardia. I had rushing thoughts going through my mind and felt like running away. At some point, I felt as if I was about to have a convulsion. The doctors deny that these are side effects of Cipro and think I am suffering from anxiety. I have had anxiety before, but who hasn't? It is too much of a coincidence to have all these symptoms together right while taking Cipro.

I was prescribed Avelox for a sinus for 14 days, and have been taking it for 9 days now. I couldn't figure out why I'm so exhausted, dizzy, not sleeping, having heart palpitations, and aching joints until I found this site. I will not take any more of the pills, and have a call into my Doctor. I'm not sure I trust him to prescribe another drug after he gave this to me.

Methylpred was administered by injection to one of our cats at our local small animal hospital, to help change his mood and discourage him from biting his tail. Upon returning home, the cat behaved as though partially sedated, lying quietly in an out-of-the-way location. Because we expected some change in behavior, and because we have several other cats in the house, we did not pay particular attention to this cat. During the second night, between 24 and 36 hours after the injection, he died. He exhibited no signs of convulsion, vomiting, or sounds of discomfort. Although moderately overweight, this cat appeared in good health. We suspect heart failure, following increased blood pressure.
