Prescribed 500mg of Levaquin for sinus infection, along w Medrol Pak steroids. Although steroids can cause restlessness, they do NOT cause COMPLETE anxiety, nightmares insomnia and aphasia. I took only 4 pills, 1 each day, and it's like i boarded THE CRAZY TRAIN. Fluoroquinolones are apparently known for their intense and dangerous side effects, and if it is true that this is also an antidote for anthrax poisoning, it's probably something that should not be prescribed for sinus infections. SEVERE side effects, chest tightness, etc. No wonder they will not rx it for teenagers-I am a healthy 42 yr old woman and would NEVER take it AGAIN,.

I literally put it in last night. Immediately I got a headache. I went to work in the morning and noticed my head was still aching, but it got so bad when I got to the office I was forced to take the nuvaring out. I never get headaches, so I knew it was the ring, especially since I saw that was a side effect. I also got nauseated for no reason, feeling dizzy, and as the headache got more painful, I noticed lights were extremely brighter and started almost flashing. Isn't that a migraine? I never get those. So right after I took it out, I felt better. I'm glad the first ring was free because I'm not getting any others. What makes me really angry is this is the third form of hormonal birth control I've used and they are all awful. Are doctors trying to kill us??? Why on earth can't they invent something that doesn't make us gain weight, doesn't kill our sex drive, and doesn't put us on the crazy train to nutsville with the mood swings??? Jeez. I've had it. I'm trying the Today Sponge next.

Trottmann - don't feel allow with your thoughts. I would think its the Yaz that is making you have these thoughts, and truly not what you are wanting to do. PLEASE do not continue taking Yaz, it is not worth it. The first day without taking Yaz, I was a physical wreck, so please be prepared. I was dizzy, shaking, sick to my stomach, and could have cried at the drop of a hat. Today, I feel like my old self, I have my appetite back, my stomach is no longer hurting, my mood is calm... just everything is good! If you stop taking Yaz and continue to have the thoughts of hurting yourself, PLEASE see your doctor or talk to someone that you can trust. You may be experiencing PPD (since your baby is only 4 months) and not even know it due to the Yaz crazy train we have all been riding on... it masks so much, you don't know if you are coming or going half the time! Please take care of yourself and if all else fails, I would be happy to talk with you if you needed someone to talk to that knows how you are feeling.
