My psychiatrist has me on two 20mg Adderall everyday. He just added Remeron to my cycle and it ruined everything! It's hard to find something for anxiety/depression that works with the Adderall well. I've tried everything but this one scares me. SSRIs and SNRIs usually make my head tingle, more anxious than usual, and unpredictable mood-wise. After starting Remeron for about a week, I had a massive strange hours long panic attack. I tried to slit my ankle, screamed and yelled things at everyone I came into contact with, walked off down the street three separate times (three diff. people had to come find me every time). My skin felt "creepy-crawly" and I was SO angry and couldn't get away from the anger. I'm still waiting on the Dr. to call me but I told his secretary I just am NOT taking it. I'll take the nerves, shakiness, and sweatiness ANY DAY over feeling crazy like that. Angry and wanting to die.. not for me.

I took Topamax about 6 years ago for migraines, and experienced no side effects. Just started it up again 3 days ago, and I feel like I am totally drugged and my head is spinning, can not drive, can barely hold a conversation, only started with 25mg, and can say that each day I feel a little better, but the only difference this time is that I am on Lexapro and my Dr. said the side effects could be worse till I get used to it..anyone else take this combination? And how long till I can function again?

Been taking it for a year now. I have become forgetful, arthritis pain has worsened, now so tired and foggy brained it came to the point of having to quit my job as I was unable to concentrate. And am now applying for disability. Have been without the medicine for 5 days now and finding it hard to sleep and having creepy crawly feelings on my skin. Has anyone heard that this is a aditictive drug? Because it sure feels like withdrawals to me. Still have my hair...thank god for small favors!

I'm a 64 year old active femal and I've been taking Zorcor since the 22nd of April 03. I have developed a lovely case of tremors that are getting worse. I have gained weight, become really irritable and developed pain in my left knee.
I was relived to see the symptoms I've been experiencing could possibly be due to Zocor. I can at least stop taking the drug. I have taken two other types of Stanin drugs (both about 15 years ago) on one I became ill and the other I would have increased episodes of my scalp getting the creepy crawly feelings crossing it. It got so bad that it would go on almost all day long. My doctor kept telling me that it wasn't the drug. I did stop taking it though and slowly it went away but it really took years. My doctor told me if I experience side effects with Zorcor, to deal with it and try and get my cholestrol down again, it's over 300.
Good luck to the rest of you guys and thanks for sharing. It's been a help to me.

My first treatment was administered in the back of my hand. I had stiff fingers and what seemed to be an arthritis flareup in a knuckle at the base of my hand which lasted for many weeks. I had a discernable swelling, which impinged on another joint, and was painful. Also, the first time I had the treatment, about 12 hours after I had it, I felt really weak and ill, had creepy crawly skin, fatigue, and flu-ike blahs. Kept waking myself up moaning from pain in all my bones and joints. This lasted about 24 hours. After that, though, I felt pretty good, and a pain I had had in my hip before treatment was gone. The next time it was much less of a response. The third time not much at all, just a little tired. However, since beginning treatment I have had stiff hands.(I now insist on getting the infusion in my arm, which helps some) I also got tendonitis in two tendons in one hand, after the first treatment, and bursitis developed after my third treatment in one shoulder. I feel as though the treatment kicks up an arthritis response with me. I am wondering if it is building up bone in joint areas, which, if they already have arthritic invlvement, further restricts the space for tendons to function in. The change in my hands is my most enduring symptom. I have to really work to get all my joints in my hands working every morning. My middle joints are most affected in my fingers, and have been a little stiff ssince treatments began. I never had this before. I figure it's worth it, but....
