To All-After months of looking at this site and what has seemed to be a mix of just sorting through personal dialogues of individual conversations , it is almost the first time I have found some very helpful actual fact based research and information. So whomever is making all these posts, I truly appreciate it. Please continue.
I've been having what seem to be growing chest pains, most pronounced just before my period to the point it is almost unbearable. Have other women experienced this? It started two years into taking Yasmin but I've now been off for several months and it seems to be getting worse? Does anyone know what this is or could be attributed to? I've already been to the doctor who after an EKG said that it was normal but that I had developed a heart murmur? I've also noticed palpitations and irregularity of how my heart beats during these times. I would greatly appreciate some help/information.....Its becoming quite worrisome.
Thank you

For Newcomers to this site, summarizing information posted about symptoms that are common and steps you can take to learn and research besides trying to read through 2900 entries that start to feel like you are reading through individuals dialogues
Side effects:
Chest Pain
Anxiety
Depression
Dehydration
Weight loss
Extreme Fatigue
Clogged/painful ears
Listlessness
Vision Changes
Overall, not one positive thing posted by anyone who has been on Yasmin/Yaz for more than two years. Seems that women over 35 have the most trouble-and or/women with possible hormonal changes/imbalances to begin with.
Check www.worstpills.org
Report Side Effects: www.fda.gov
Call and report effects to teh pharmaceutical company
Unless you take action, Yasmin and Yaz will stay on the market for years to come. many more women will get sick and some very seriously so as you will find if you read through this site, the negative and damaging effects are lengthy and continue to grow.

Has anyone experience re-current chest pain? I'm talking about 8-9 months of it? My chest often feels heavy but sometimes with pain as well?
I have read that several women experience the heaviness, I'm just wondering after 9 months and 4 months of being off Yasmin, it will go away?
Otherwise, please ladies, save the long dialogues to personal phone calls if you would be so thoughtful because think of all teh women joining this site on a daily basis, trying to gather information in 2900 entries? Its hard to deduce and find between personal dialogues.

I had the mirena put in in june after my third child. I did feel a bit dizzy when it was first put in but did not cramp at all. I was still spoting then from giving birth, so it just continued for about 3 more weeks the stopped altogether. I have not had a period since, woooooooohooooooooooo!!!!!!!! I don't feel bad about that at all. I did have a day when I woke up cramping and thought I was going to start but never did. My doctors nurse told me everything I needed to know about the mirena long before i had it put in. I actually made the appointment to discuss it with her. Everyone should have been smart enough to ask questions before it was done, not the day it is. You cant think straight when someone is getting ready to put a device in you. I have to say I love my mirena and would not trade it for a pill, a shot, or any other birth control method. Ladies know your gyn very well before trusting them. I think most of you just think it is your doctors fault. It is not it is yours for not researching it more. And come on what women is not moody a day in her life, not many. How many headaches did you get before the mirena? How were your sinuses before mirena? Probably the same. Some womens health simply changes after having a baby. I also advise against you removing these mirenas yourselves. It is not smart, you could get a bad infection from not being in a sterile environment.
