I have been on Toprol-XL 25mg for 3 months. Shortly after I started this medication I developed hip/upper thigh pain which feels better when I walk. It seems the muscles are very sore in my legs. Never had this prior to taking this medication. It just gives you a sick feeling. I am going to start weaning myself off of this med by cutting it down to 1/2 a tab. I will say one thing it has regulated the PAC's but perhaps the flutter in my chest that will not hurt me, is better than the side effects of this drug. Of course the doctors deny that this drug has these side effects.

It's been 7 months since I was poisoned by Levaquin. I am suffering every bit as much now as I was months ago. No improvement at all. My entire body feels as if something is in the entire inner system, just racking everything with pain and indescribable feelings, like gripping, weakness, shuddering, etc. Dear God, why do doctors deny that this is happening and that Levaquin is the cause. Why do they get angry and space out your visits for two months and even threaten to drop you because you persist in believing that Levaquin did this? Why?

kay21, it sounds like maybe you should go to a different gynecologist. it's so frustrating to me that so many doctors deny that these side effects could be caused by yasmin. have you told her about this website? i was on yasmin for a year and a half with no side effects. then i had a panic attack while driving and nearly got in an accident. i had horrible anxiety for a few weeks with some more panic attacks. i really felt like i was going crazy. it was a nightmare. thankfully, i found this website and immediately stopped taking yasmin (although my gynecologist didn't think that yasmin had anything to do with it). well, it's been five months and like others have said, the anxiety has gotten less and less each month. i haven't had a panic attack in months and am beginning to feel like my old self again. the anxiety does creep up around my period, but it's not nearly as bad. i'm so thankful that i found this website.
i also lost more hair and got acne after going off of yasmin, but that has gotten much better with time. it's all part of your body adjusting to the difference in hormones. it's amazing to me that doctors prescribe hormones so easily without accurately telling patients how hormones may affect them. good luck to everyone, and thanks so much for your input. it sounds dramatic, but finding this website really did save my life.

Its crazy how the nurses tell you its all in your head. I dont understand this at all. I had a coil for about ayear and a half and have just had it out. I wanted it out before but was talked out of it by the nurse at the family planning clinic. What I really dont get is that on the information booklet that comes with the coil it says that there are side effects, much the same as individuals on here have experienced, but the nurses/doctors deny it?!?
Something needs to be done!!!
After hving had this thing out for 10days now, my skin is still awful-but I tink it may get worse before it gets better, pain is gone, mood swings improving and sex drive almost immediately returned to normal. I am soooooo happy to have that bloody thing outta me! and condoms are not as bad as i thought they would be.
Will keep those of you who asked me to updated!
