Dry patches symptoms and conditions

I started Femcon Fe about 3 months ago. About two weeks after starting the pill, I had gotten a UTI. Not thinking it was the pill, I get it treated. A week after finishing the medication. I got another UTI and got treated for it again. Now, I have this constant burn all the time when I urinate (I previously had gotten tested for any STD, so I know it is not that). Everyday, I take AZO to ease the pain. Also, I have noticed at night I get painful leg cramps. I have also gained about 10 pounds, and my boobs are HUGE (which I kinda like). Three weeks out of the month I am psycho (yell at my kids like a maniac and snap at anyone). I also started to get dry patches on my face. I really think it is the pill. After reading everyone's comments I know it is the pill. Thanks everyone for posting cause if not I would have thought I needed to be in a mental institution, need to seek medical attention for circulatory and urinary tract problems, and joined weight watchers. I am stopping the pill tonight!

Oh my - I'm so glad, for once, that I googled something. I have just taken my 17th Loestrin pill and it will be my last. I could NOT understand why I felt the way I did. It started with nausea, progressed to acne and dry patches (in the same place!), then extreme fatigue, then I just couldn't do anything but sleep or mope around. Gradually I had an increasing feeling of extreme anxiety. I dreaded the future but I couldn't understand why. Then the depression kicked in on day 11 and I felt as though I was grieving very deeply... but for what? Nothing had happened! I began to think of my husband leaving me and how it would be for the best. And I felt like walking out on my children and climbing a mountain and just sitting there. I was like a zombie and passed over many social events because I just couldn't bear to talk to anyone. I began to look half dead and stopped taking care of myself. Eventually I had thoughts of quitting my job and was very close to making a phone call and saying some very final things to my bosses! Thank GOD I didn't - I stopped the pills first. THen I googled the brand name. Then I saw all these comments and may more on another site and it was such a huge relief. Now I just feel angry that my damn stooped bloody GP had no idea about how wildly varied people's experiences on this pill are - and therefore didn't warn me.

I am so glad that I have found other women with the same side effects. I really thought i was going crazy. I became depressed, severe anxiety, mood swings, crying, really crazy thoughts my husband was gonna cheat, I just had a baby 8 weeks before and I wasn't sure if it was PPD or what! I felt fine though until a week after I got mirena. I am on meds now and I thought all of these side effects was from them, even though I had taken them in the past with no problems. I would suggest to all women who are the least bit sensitive to meds, have any history with anxiety or depression NOT to get mirena. The doctors say that my side effects aren't from it but I was fine until this. I was happy with my new baby and after I got it was so tired and mentally gone I couldn't take it. I have had headaches with loss of vision, I had a history of migraines four years ago....now there back. I have had panic attacks, yell at my family for little things, dry patches on my scalp, pain during sex and extreme bloating and weight gain. I can't wait to get it out!!! Good luck to you all!

I have severe dry patches and itching on hands and feet after using Lamisil Athletes Foot cream.

Hi all! I just began taking YAZ two weeks ago and things were fine up until two days ago. I started experiencing itching on several parts of my boy an last night, realized I had hives on my waist at my back, near my underarms and have serious itching all over the rest of my body including the palms of my hands. Please, please, please if anyone reads this an has had similar side effects, please let me know. Furthermore, I did not take the pill last night as I knew this could be the only thing causing these issues. Does anyone know the reprecution of stopping the pill mid month? Please let me know and thanks for your help!

I've been on and off Yasmin for about a year now. The side effects I've experienced while on the drug are dry patches on my face and pimples on my jawline (which I've never had before!). For the past three months, I've also experienced inter-menstrual bleeding i.e. small amount of bleeding in between my periods. This can't be normal?!

THE CRAZY SIDE EFFECTS THAT JUST HAPPENED AFTER 2DAYS I BECAME VERY SICK AS WELL AS HAVING MAJOR BURNING SENSATIONS IN MY STOMACH. IT FELT LIKE MY BODY WAS MELTING FROM THE IN SIDE OUT. THE DAYS WENT BY I FELT HOT ON MY FACE SO I WENT TO SPLASH WATER ON IT THEN DRYED MY FACE I LOOKED IN THE MIRROR SEEN THAT I HAD REDNESS AND IT WAS STILL WAS HOT. THERE WAS ALSO PIMPLE LIKE BUMPS, DRY PATCHES ALL AROUND MY FACE. AS WELL AS MY FACE WAS ACTUALLY PEELING OFF. I TRY TO PUT LOTION ON, BUT IT DIDN'T HELP. WHAT WAS EVEN MORE WEIRDER WAS I NOTICE THAT MY LEFT NEE IT BECAME HOT AND THEN IT WOULD START TO TINGLE THEN HURT. BUT NOW IT JUST TINGLES AND HURTS ALL THE TIME.

P.S . THIS MEDICATION IS NOT GOOD FOR ANY ONE TO TAKE. SO FOR YOUR HEALTH AND SAEFTY STOP TAKING IT.
AND LET EVERY ONE YOU KNOW NOT TO TAKE THIS IT'S VERY HARMFUL TO PEOPLE !!!!!

I developed a few small dry patches of skin on my waist area which a layer of skin actually peeled off of then became red but do not itch at all. The skin around my waist has become very dry and flaky. I don't see this happening to anyone else... is this a normal side effect??? I took doxy twice a day for five days about eight to ten days before this developed.
Anyone else develope extremely sensitive skin which wasn't exposed to sunlight???

Got a skin rash after taking this two days. Extremely dry patches of raised red spots on hands, arms and feet. No itching, but awful, scaly rash

terrible dry patches on my face, especially above my top lip. Been on it for 6 months, blotchy bumpy skin on my face, terrible leg and foot muscle spasms at night. NO SEX DRIVE, until I read all these postings, I thought it was me.
