I have taken Lisinopril for a long time. Not sure when it came into the market, but seems like I been on them a few years. I been taking blood pressure meds for about 10 years. I am 53. Not sure when I was switched to Lisinopril. I have fought most the symptons that are on this website. I have never connected it with Lisino and neither have my doctors, even at Mayo Clinic. I always check out healthy as a horse, except, they write this off to having Fibromyalgia. I have had long periods of time when I did feel I could "catch my breath" It's like the feeling of holding your breath in, till you need to really breath badly. So you breath, and that feeling seems to stay to a large degree. Extreme Fatigue, walking 100 feet and back sometimes. Dry cough or clearing Phlem all the time. Dizzy for like, 3 years now, weakness in legs, pain in legs even in the morning. They carry a burning with them like if you were working out, but it burns like that if you just walk a short distance. Bad insomnia, so freaking tired, but the sleep button just doesnt kick in. Sometimes totally exacerbating as far as the fatigue is concerned. Do not know if its connected, but can tolerate the soap isle in the grocery store, I can just feel it suck any energy out of me. Hot flashes, ear aches..not infections, they just seemed to stay slightly inflammed. Lots of stiffness in neck and shoulders, and lots of just skin pain, across my back. So for years I have been fighting this fatigue and pain and we will see if it's connected to Lisino or not. Let me add also, when the fatigue is greater so is the brain fog and/or lethergy. Lots of headaches. I was feeling so weak not long ago, I thought it might be MS. But Dr. Said MS is not painful, and my legs, especially thighs, and hip joints hurt a lot. If this is caused by taking Lisino, I would have to say, I am about 10% of the man I used to me, Physically. Might as well throw a sexual activity report in here. All the plumbing works fine, it just the concern if that's where I want the energy to go for the rest of the day. Sometimes and physical excertion, the best way to describe it, it like an exahusting "flare", It will kick your butt and put in bed. Like, hmmm, think I will move the couch over there...bammm. Okay, I am done. I just wanted to be a bit detailed, it might help others out. If it is Lisino, I am sure it will take several weeks for me to get it off and out of my system, but I will write back. I hope this may help someone else out there.

I've only been taking Singulair for about a week, but the headache started shortly after I began taking it. It's a nasty sharp throbbing across my right temple. My ears have been pretty much constantly plugged and I can feel pressure in my sinus cavity. I went on double doses of zytec and zantac in order to get rid of sinus pressure (headaches, ear aches, and face pain) in the first place...and now it's back. I can breath better, but my asthema wasn't that bad to begin with. For me, the side effects aren't worth it.

Well, at least now I know, I'm not crazy! Since having started on the Advair Diskus, I have been having chronic dry mouth! I can't drink enough, to the point where I feel sick. At night, my mouth dries out, and I am constantly clearing the back of my throat which feels like it is covered in mucus. Which extends to not just my throat, but my nose and eyes. I've also been getting ear aches that are very painful, as well as jitters.

I have been on singulair for about 4 months now. I was feeling sick and found out I have anxiety issues and with deaths in my family, I turned into a hypo. Although real things were happening. I found out I am allergic to a lot of things, dogs, cats, molds, dust, etc. and this all started with moving into this house. Anways I am 20 years old and take the chewable singulair because I have a problem swallowing pills (I take 2 a night). I have found myself having more trouble breating, pain in the chest and a heavy feeling. I feel like my heart beats irregularly. I have throat problems and constant ear aches. Of course I have nose problems with the allergies. I am getting the allergy shots but that takes a while to work. Now reading what all of you have said I am wondering if singulair has made everything worse. I too have also had my hair shedding. I thought it was from the stress. Although I am afraid of everything at the moment I wonder if Singulair is making everything much worse. If anyone has any side affects they would like to share with me or any thoughts email me at ******

I know this probably isn't "new"...started on 20 mg. daily after a severe asthma attack. Emergency room here had ALL my history. Doctor (?) should not have even given me this because I take Lamictal (an anti-convulsant) for bi-polar. I was never told about "weaning off" until I contacted an R.N. @ BC/BS of AL. I've had severe tremors, headaches, nausea, diarreha(sp?), black-tarry stool, buzzy-head, severe mood swings, blurred vision, swelling of all joints, sore throat, ear aches, very bad mouth sores, ravenous appetite, hot/cold flashes, dizziness, overall "where am I & what's going on" confusion, hysterical crying spells, racing heart, increased B/P...etc, etc, etc!! For me, there is NO good reason to take this demon drug!! I feel like I should be back in lock down and preparing for more ECT treatments. (Flashback from 6 yrs. ago) My prayers go out for anyone who takes this. From now on, I leave my asthma attacks to God and only God. Blessings to all.

After five weeks of taking singulair-sinus infections after sinus infection, ear aches, bad sore throat, upper respiratory infection, shortness of breath, hard time sleepn... I am at college and I am sick of being sick. I am going to tell my doctor that I do not have time for this! I questioned whether or not to go home to see if i just need good rest and time off. I thought i might have monno because i am feeling extremely fatigue and have swollen glands. I actually still have all these symptoms. Now that I have knowledge of what all of my sickness is most likely from, I think I will try stop taking this GREAT pill called singulair!!!! ....I want to tell everyone to not trust doctores when they tell you how great this drug is your going to take

I have been getting a Kenelog shot for 19 months by a nurse practioner. I had ear aches for 7 years and Doctors could not clear them. I moved, and by accident, met a nurse practioner. Without any testing, she said my problem was allergies, and the Kenelog shot would stop the ear pain with little side affects. She also warned me that I would get a small dimple on my rear, but not to worry. This would go away in a year. Well, it has been longer than a year, and the dents in both sides of my rear are so deep you could put a large mans hand in them. I can no longer wear tight dress pants, because the dents are too noticable. I am extememly uncomforatbe anytime someone puts there arm around me near the dents, because they feel so ugly. I have also lost 30 pounds since I had this shot. I don't know how i am going to live with the ear aches, but think i should stop the shots ??? I would also get large bruises all over my legs that would itch terribly. Please help me with some advice, and the long-term effects of this shot.
Thank you sincerely,
Sharon

I have been on Singulair for about 2 1/2 years...I thought it was a miracle drug. The asthma I had been strapped with since I was 7 yrs old (40 yrs old now) seemed to subside greatly. Last week, I went to the doctor with another ear infection...something that has been extremely common in the last several years. I had never before had ear problems..even as a child. My mother heard Singulair advertised on TV and one of the possible side effects was ear aches and ear infections. Could Singulair be the culprit? Is this why both of my ears are stopped up going on 6 days now? Ugh...I WILL be contacting my doctor tomorrow!

I like this medication so much I gave my daughter and her boyfriend some for their congestion and ear aches. Now they tell me they want to be alone more. I am not sure if the medicine increased their libido or not.

I tried Yaz (lower dose form of Yasmin) for two months and it made me give up on birth conrol completely. I had many ear aches/problems but no infection.I also had some un explained chest pains. My main complaint though is when I was on the reminder pills and when I stopped the pill I got severe dry skin. I have been very oily all my life. I am also having nervousness and problems sleeping. I think it has affected my potassium levels or adrenal glands (as another member posted) because I feel like I did when I was ill before I had my gall bladder out a few years ago. I have not taken any mediceines or changed any routines during this time. I have been on 4 different birth controls for the last 8 years and this was the worst. I hope I will feel normal again.
