Levaquin should be removed from the market. I was prescribed 750mg. and took it for just 3 days and had a terrible reaction to the drug. Now several months later it's recurring again. Severe leg pain and swollen joints, difficulty walking, drowsyness and loss of appitite. If anyone has a remedy for these side effects and a hope of getting it out of my system I'd love to hear from you. Whitey at jwhitey@earthlink.net

Please post this on your site for Yasmin side effects.
Thank you for your site. I've been informed my reading it.
I've taken Yasmin for 3 months. Initially had mild nausea taking the pills but solved that by cutting pills in half, and taking half in the morning and the other half with dinner.
However, I haven't been able to solve my SEVERE THIGH and LEG MUSCLE CRAMPS that initially occured daily and particularly nightly. Just like a 'charley horse'. Now I have these only once every 3 days, but it is very annoying and painful to be jumping around on my leg or trying to stretch my thigh, or hamstring, or shin muscle out.
I've read that Yasmin is unique in having a diuretic component to it. Has anyone else experienced these severe skeletal muscle cramps (not uterine or period type cramps)?
If so, have you found any supplements that help, such as Potassium, Calcium, or Magnesium. Please write me at ****** if you have info.
My history is I'm a 50 y/o female with slight anemia from heavy periods placed on Yasmin to control this. I'm a vegetarian who has never had problems in the past taking several different kinds of OCPs including Loestrin. I take no other prescriptions medications or supplements. I have never had skeletal cramps other than maybe once a year prior to taking Yasmin.
Thank you

I have been on Levoxy for 2 1/2 years now. I was subclinical hypothyroidism when diagnosed. 8 months ago my doctor increased my dose to 100mcg and my hair began falling out and I had mood problems. I complainded to him and he said that he didn't htink it was caused from the levoxyl because my TSH was in the normal range. IT HAD DROPPED FROM MID-NORMAL TO BORDERLINE LOW ABNORMAL! I had to gradually decrease my dose on my own and since, the symptoms have been better but I am still losing hair. When ever they make a change in doses, my pms is worse and overall mental health. Wish I could go off this med. Does anyone know of a better source? They also found a few nodules on my thyroid which I think is causing the whole hypo thing. Please email with comments to graham4@earthlink.net
All my best!

A representative of Schwarz Pharma USA told me that the FDA is "concerned about the condition of the raw product" that was being used. (i.e. pig livers?) SP said that they are searching for another source for the product. The person I talked to said that SP is committed to getting kutapressin back on the market, and has no plans to discontinue it.
I am forming a Kutapressin Users Group to keep everyone informed on this issue, and explore other options if necessary. You can reach me at:
