what happens if you stop after second dose.. Im so scared right now!!

After our Singulair nightmare experience with my 4 year old daughter, I looked towards a more natural alternative. I put her back on children's echinacea drops by Herb Pharm - this has always helped in the past with her ear infections. You do need to be sure to give them a 10 day break after about 2 weeks. I also started giving her Primal Defense for Kids by Garden of Life. This is a Probiotic Formula. This product has really been a godsend. Her allergy symptoms are now minimal. No more runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes, etc. If you are at your wits end, you may want to try these items. They are working for our family!

My son suffered from pneumonia at age 6 months till age 2. They had him on Flovent and Singulair from the age of 1. For as long as we can remember, he has been an aggressive, mean, bitter, angry child. The slightest thing would set him off. The doctors had just had him tested for tumors and cancers and other serious head related problems because he was constantly complaining of headaches. All tests came back normal. Then we heard that Singulair can cause ADD amongst many other side effects, including headaches. We took him off of Singulair and after only 2 days off of it he was a completely different little boy. He is happy and loving, calm and patient. He isn't dissolving in a fit of rage at the simplest thing. We can not believe the difference in how he is acting.
We found about 2 years ago a natural supplement that has really helped control his and my asthma and allergies. It is called OPC-3. My joints all over my body are painful. I don not know if it is a side effect of lithium because I take other medications. The drugs include femara, niravam, cymbalta, famvir, calcium 1000 mg., a multivitamin capsule, glucousimine, echinacea. please give me some advise as to why I get veryt painful joints and the back of my neck pops constantly throughout the day.

I took Levaquin for the 5 days, and yeah, my muscles ached a bit - but they do that anyway with Hep C, so it's not like there was a real difference. It got rid of the infection, anyway. For those of you suffering side effects: go to the doc, and don't leave until he/she figures out how to help. And while you're at it, don't take antibiotics for every little infection. I suspect that is what is at the root of a lot of these reactions, we're too stuffed with medication.
Try more natural remedies, if possible. Echinacea is one, but there are a lot that help to keep your system on an even keel to try to avoid health issues

Out of desparation I went on the internet today to see if anyone else besides myself was having adverse reactions. I went to the Dr. yesterday and neither one of us could figure out why I was hoarse,throat full of phlem, felt like I had a lump in my throat and it felt tight. Kept feeling like I had to swallow. The roof of my mouth is sore and my toungue is sore. Funny taste in my mouth. Acid reflux. Prilosec no longer working. Running a fever last week of 102 degrees. Yesterday when I took my morning dose of advair it fellt like my mouth was on fire. Constant non stop post nasal drip, which made me feel like I constantly had to swallow. Felt paniky. Desided to take myself off Advair today. I'm already feeling better. My voice is coming back to normal. The thick phlem is subsiding and the swelling and tightness in my neck is almost gone. Weight gain of 20 lbs in the last year. The advair was actually triggering bronchitis and was also causing acid reflux. The medication prilosec, nexium,protonix etc. can increase your chance of getting pneumonia and upper respritory problems. I was not diagnosed with asthma, yet the Nurse Practioner was treating me with aggressive asthma medication, which over time was worse than the original symptoms. By the way Flovent and advair are the same thing so I also took myself off flovent. I went to the health food store and bought allergy 10 and echinacea. Echinacea boosts the immune system and acts like an antibiotic, but should not be taken for more than 6 to 8 weeks at a time. Allergy 10 can be take indefinately.
